I had breast reduction surgery in June of 2019 and I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. McDouough and his excellent staff. Dr. McDonough is very matter of fact, yet compassionate at the same time. He is available 24/7 and even texted me the night before surgery with reassuring words and held my hand as I was put to sleep on the operating table. Keri was fabulous and super patient as she answered my 1000 questions. I had little to no pain post-op, only taking Tylenol for pain. Ice and Silvadene cram was my best friend. Would 100% recommend Dr. McDonough.
Dr McDonough and his staff was amazing through the whole process. They were all very knowledgeable and helpful. I will always recommend them to anyone. I was nervous at first about everything but the whole staff was very reassuring.
Dr. McDonough was excellent and so was his staff! They have given me excellent care! It has been a week and a half since my breast reduction surgery and I already feel and look so much better! My only regret is I wish I had done this earlier! I highly recommend Dr. McDonough and his staff!
Dr. McDonough and his staff were professional and compassionate. The surgery (breast augmentation) went great with good post-op care. The most impressive feature was Dr. McDonough's responsiveness to any questions I had along the way. He was available by telephone 24/7.
Quick recovery. I had surgery on a Friday, some staples taken out on Monday, went back to work Wednesday and the remaining staples out on Friday. I was fortunate my process was easy and the staff at the plastic surgery center were fabulous. I wanted my breast “evened” and that’s exactly what happened.
Had my surgery about 20 hours ago. Currenly very uncomfortable. Chest feels incredibly heavy. And my back hurts a good bit, too. But I can see my new breast and the potential after they drop. I think they will look good. I'm happy but looking forward to being more comfortable. I have been keeping ice on my chest since I got home and taking the prescription medications. Updated on 6 Nov 2017: Had my second follow up today. My surgeon and nurse took my staples out. Incisions look good. Now I'm just taped over my incisions. Updated on 19 Nov 2017: Feeling good. Still have some tape on my incisions. Loving my 475cc memory gel breasts! Still have some swelling. And one breast seems to be dropping at a different rate. Overall, very pleased!
Dr.McDonough is fabulous and so good at what he does. I was terrified to get a BA, but I couldn't be happier. He held my hand as I went to sleep and was available around the clock to address all of my concerns post-op. I highly recommend Dr.McDonough!
Marvelous! Breast reduction has lifted the weight of the world from my back and shoulders. No more curved over at the end of the day, I can hike all day without difficulty. Great experience, don't wait!
I had a breast lift with augmentation. I am very athletic and after losing 50 lbs and nursing 2 kids, the girls were looking pretty ancient. I was terrified to get this surgery but the dr and staff made me feel very comfortable. They answered all my questions promptly. They allowed me to go through my process and let me come in a couple extra times because I was unsure of a couple things. Dr was very laid back, listened to what I wanted, and made a few mild recommendations. He allowed me to make my own decision and offered his opinion as needed. I'm very happy with my results. I wanted a natural proportionate look. I am 5'2" and 110lbs added 215cc low profile implants. When I had post op questions it was easy to make an appointment or call and have my questions answered.
Dr. McDonough and his staff are awesome! I had all my questions answered before surgery and after surgery I received the same experience as before surgery. He was available after hours if I had any questions or issues. Which I had no issues at all! His staff was great. Always greeted with a smile. I would recommend Dr. McDonough!
A tummy tuck with or without diastasis repair will be helpful. The overhang with tight pants or muffin top is hard to fx without loosening the constricting band or belt.
The tummy tuck is a good opportunity to repair the gap between the halves of the rectus muscle. If there is no gap it does not need to be repaired. One way to evaluate the diastasis or gap in the rectus is to lie on your back and lift your head then feel for the gap with your muscles tensed.
The simplest is to replace with round smooth implant. The have the same profile front and back so if they flip they will look the same
After ten years with breasts that are increasingly firm and project more over time after gel implants in the sub glandular position, capsular contracture sounds likely. Return to your Plastic Surgeon to see what he/she would suggest.
Yes. The implants will help but the nipple position will still be low unless you have a lift. These are usually done at the same time.
