Disclaimer: this review is for tongue tie release. There was no option for tongue tie under "treatment". I have only heard the best things about Dr. Ryan’s office that’s why I was so excited to get my tongue tie released there. Dr. Ryan’s office, including all staff members, is truly the best! The minute I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. I could even see it behind a mask. Every single person in the office was welcoming, professional and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Ryan answered all of my questions and we made a mutual decision to proceed with the release. The procedure was super quick and I felt nothing! Dr. Ryan kept checking on me if I was ok during the procedure. I felt an immediate change with my tongue right after the procedure. I felt very comfortable leaving his office knowing that I was given clear post op instructions. It’s been almost 2 months now and my tongue looks and feels great! I don’t think I could have gone to a better provider to get my tongue tie released and I am truly thankful for the professional and welcoming experience of every single person in their office.
I came to consult with Dr. Ryan after a number of failed surgeries for dental implants with another oral surgeon. Dr. Ryan managed to figure out what was needed and I just completed a successful surgery and I am ready now for working with my restorative dentist. Aside from being a great surgeon, he is so kind and a really nice guy. I don't love oral surgery, but I trust him completely and would recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery.
Hi there! Hope you are doing well. There might be an issue with your Temporomandibular joint which leads to the dysfunction of that area. The clicking and discomfort could be a result of this TMJ, it could also be the wisdom teeth coming in so I definitely suggest seeing a doctor. Check with your dental insurance to see if there is a general dentist that can see you first and maybe suggest a good oral surgeon for your wisdom teeth and a Maxillofacial surgeon for your possible TMJ. Geoduck on your search!
Good day! I hope this response finds you doing well. I would recommend seeing a professional restorative dentist in your area to fix up this small blemish. The majority of the tooth looks healthy so they should be able to do this repair relatively easily. Definitely give someone a call to give you a few options about how to move forward. Good luck!
Hi there! Sorry that you're experiencing that pain. It is normal for the pressure as the teeth try to break through the gums. I would recommend asking to be put on a waitlist until you are able to be seen, of course the sooner the better. In the meantime, manage pain with over the counter pain medication like Aleve or Tylenol and eating softer foods avoiding chewy foods that put a lot of pressure around your molars. Good luck!
Hello! Some people can go without getting them removed it just depends on the placement and how they will effect you current teeth. I believe you should go to your general dentist to see if they would look at your x-ray to see if extractions are recommended. Good luck!
Hi there hope this message finds you well. I highly recommend, if you do not already, getting some dental insurance as it can significantly help with the costs of the procedure. The extra tooth will most likely be an extra extraction cost, it doesn't necessarily make the procedure more complicated but it is another tooth to pull. Please see an oral surgeon that is in network with your insurance to get a more detailed treatment plan and an outline of costs! Hope this helps :)
