I'm a 33 year old mother of two. I'm 5'1", 115 lbs. I had my first son 13 years ago and knew I wanted a breast augmentation after fourteen months of breast feeding. Eight years later I had my second son. After 13 yers of constantly restarting a "boob job fund" with my hubby the opportunity presented itself last month. Rewind to June 2020 I felt a ping of pain below my belly button down and went to the dog or with the suspicion of a hernia. Doctor said yes, an umbilical hernia and referred me to a general surgeon. In July I had an appointment with a fantastic general surgeon and we had an appointment for my hernia repair. At the pro-op a few weeks later I asked about my ab muscles being repaired during my hernia repair. She sent me to a plastic surgeon. Two weeks ago (October) I saw him for my consultation; we talked about my hernia repair, diastasis recti repair and an abdominoplasty. I ended up asking him about a breast augmentation and he said that's do-able as long as my stomach repairs all went smoothly first. This week I received the phone call from the plastic surgeon stating my insurance was approved for all three stomach procedures (obviously the boobs weren't going to be approved)!! On the 27th I go for sizing for my breast augmentation, my marking appointment is on November 5th and surgery on November 6th at 8am!!
I went for a consult, and I knew as soon as he started talking I was not going to let him cut into my breast. He’s either super out date or very inexperienced. He talks a good game and seems to know what he’s talking about, but I’ve been on the booby train for a very long time. I walk out say “hell no!”
