Hi guys I had my testicles augmented with silicone implants by Dr James Elist about 18 months ago. I am happy with the six and look of the testicles but they are very hard to the touch and do not feel natural at all. In fairness at the time of the 2 minute consultation (I then had the surgery that afternoon as I live in Australia) he did tell me that he thought one size down was a more natural looking effect but he did not explain that the implants used would feel so hard - like if you were flexing a muscle, for want of a better description. That kind of hard, with no 'give' when they are fondeled. A;so they are cold to the touch as no blood circulates through them (obviously). He didn't mention that either. Every single person bar non who has touched them has commented on how hard they are. I guess its a pay off between filling out my shorts and having cold, hard balls. Still, after everything, the US$8000 fee, the discomfort of the post surgery healing and in my case the travel, I'm WAY HAPPIER now that I fill out my swimming trunks than before. And as far as surgeons go, he was nice, professional, and followed up with after care and got his staff to call me in Australia.
The implant they put in me caused a loss of one inch of original length. It never looked natural, and it was very painful for months after implant. They told me it's removable but what they didn't not tell me is that it will reduce my natural size by many inches. I've had to go through four surgeries in less than one year to reconstruct my penis. The doctor does not have good bed side manners and rushes through all exams. He even did not use gloves many times when touching my areas he was working on.
Never peformed surgery I paid for. Fired me as patient, took my money and never looked back. Agreed on a removal of prior surgery, but never implanted the Penuma as we agreed on. Left with zero response except a you are fired from us letter and I never to this day still got the surgery! Received half but not full amount of what I paid.
Very long story short. My implant was done incorrectly, and upon removal, has left my penis 2 inches shorter and almost completely numb. The implant feels VERY unnatural. It's like walking around with an erection 24/7. Say goodbye to wearing jeans or sweatpants in public. Say goodbye to the comfort and flexibility of your natural penis. Say hello to constantly worrying about infection or protrusions years after the healing process has ended. Dr. Elist and the other surgeons tout that the Penuma implant is "safely reversible". This couldn't be farther from the truth. The Penuma implant is REMOVABLE, not safely reversible. You will not have the same penis as before. Please save yourselves the heartache and $16,000.
