PRECISION TX REVIEW: I had a facelift 4 years ago. My facelift started loosening up along the jaw line and my cheeks were getting heavier. I went back to my plastic surgeon in Massachusetts who said that it was too early for another facelift. In my desperate search for skin tightening procedures I asked Dr. Bartels who does my fillers and he recommended Precision Lift. I made an appointment right away. I was given a Valuum which I took but didn't need. There is a numbing agent that Dr. Bartels used to numb my whole lower face and neck with. I felt nothing. It was absolutely a breeze. If my facelift was a 10 on the intensity scale then Precision Lift was a 1. So easy. Door to door I think it was 2 1/2 hours including prep and post procedure. Now to the results. I saw tightening immediately. Each week my face changed shape. I was losing my full cheeks and my neck was getting tighter. People were starting to say things like "did you get a haircut?" or "I like your earrings". That is always a tell tale sign when I have work done. It's been 6 months since my Precision Tx treatment and there will continue to be tightening for 3 more months. I can honestly say that my skin is now almost as tight as my original facelift. It is really getting tighter everyday. I am absolutely thrilled with this new non invasive procedure. It absolutely saved my facelift. I may repeat this procedure again down the road instead of another facelift. Why go under the knife when you can have a procedure as simple as having a dental procedure. Doctors online have said that the Precision TX is equivalent to having half a facelift. It is that dramatic.
I am working on changing my skin texture. I've had several Pelleve treatments with Kathy at Dr. Bartels office and so far I am amazed. It really is a workhorse for wrinkles. My skin tone has changed only after a few treatments. It was painless and actually quite relaxing. I talked to Kathy during the whole procedure. I have had Ultherapy done elsewhere and the pain was tough to take. This was nothing like Ultherapy, and got very good results. It changed my skin tone and depth of wrinkles. Pelleve is a hidden gem.
Love, love, love the results with dysport. I tried Botox years ago but wasn't happy with the results so I swore off injectables. A friend recommended Dysport so I tried it on her advice and I am in love. I cannot stop looking at my smoother reflection in a mirror and I am someone that usually hides from reflective surfaces. It started to work immediately and a bonus side effect is no more headaches! Talk about a win-win situation. No more headaches and the Grand Canyon between my eyebrows just about disappeared overnight!
I not only tried Dysport but a facial filler as well. I loved the Dysport because, while providing the desired effect of minimizing my ability to frown without making me look frozen, it's also less expensive than Botox. The facial filler brought my cheeks back to their former fullness, just as Dr. Bartels and his staff said they would. It was far less painful than I had expected.
I have been a patient at James P. Bartels MD Cosmetics & Facial Plastic Surgery Center for about three years now. I love Dr. B and his staff. I had facial fillers and the results are truly amazing. Service is beyond compare. The price was very fair. I was very well educated about all of my options before any treatment was administered. I appreciate that he took his time explaining exactly what I needed and why. I absolutely love the results I get from Dyspot, Radiese and Pelleve.. Thank you again Dr. B and staff K.Z
Radiesse is a great treatment for filling lines and folds in the face. (Which I had both) The optimum word is "had". The local anesthesia is in the Radiesse filler and in my opinion, made the procedure less uncomfortable. I instantly saw a change, and the results were beautiful. For me, it was an easy way to improve the loss of volume around my jaw line and fill the facial defects, which I saw when I looked in the mirror. I felt my skin was collapsing around my lower face, but not anymore. I was injected with Radiesse in my cheeks, marionette lines and jaw area. I was considering a face lift, but not now... not for at least a few more years. I look younger, better and more rested. But that's just my opinion.
Dysport, in my opinion, is the new Botox. Having had both, I found Botox took about 5-7 days to work for me, but Dysport showed signs immediately and by the 2nd day I looked amazing! I'm told Dysport allegedly last longer, still too early to tell; I do know it's less expensive and the physician I went to is experienced in injecting both, a very important feature. They fill the same, feels the same, but one costs less and works almost immediatley, is there any question which one to purchase if your physician recommends it?
Love, love, love it! I have had Botox for 10 plus years and found that in the past three/four years wasn't lasting as long as it used to so I was paying more and more and the cost wasn't worth it. Then my Doctor suggested that I try Dysport and it worked instantly and lasted longer and less expensive. To me all those three was like winning the lottery. I will definately continue using Dysport.
I am a woman entering my 60's with a 40 year old mindset. I am single and in the Business arena involved with the public on a day to day basis. I take care of myself but I noticed that the "smile" lines were deep and made my chin appear longer and narrower. After having the Radiesse I had bruising for about a week and some pin sites. Two weeks after I had the Radiesse my "smile" lines are smoother and my chin looks fuller. I would definately do this again and recommend it to all my friends male or female.
I had heard of Radiesse and had been treated already by Dr. B with Botox several times. Loved that but thought since he did such a good job, going to Radiesse would fill out my cheeks and around my mouth. At 55, you really start loosing the fat around those areas. He is knowledgable, gentle, concerned during the procedure about any discomfort and where to put Radiesse so would make a difference. I went to him since he is a face expert i know that is critical for getting good results with any facial procedures. I received a full correction in my cheeks, jowl area and nasolabial folds and have a much softer younger look. All my friends notice I look rested and younger, but not sure why. Great way to reverse the curse of time by having Radiesse and seeing Dr. B Thank you!
From the photo you provided, I can't really see what you are unhappy with. Nevertheless, photos can be deceiving.I'd say go ahead and have hyaluronidase injected to dissolve it. I think you will find there is actually not much product left eleven months later, so it will not makes things appreciably worse.Best of luck.
Unless your photos are reversed, I think your left ear actually looks better and more natural than the right ear.In any case, neither ear protrudes unnaturally on front view. In addition, it is rare that anyone looks at both ears simultaneously. For these reasons, I would not advise revision surgery. Your tendency to form keloids is another reason to leave things as they are.
Your nose shape can be changed by polyps, but in my experience it occurs only when the polyps are quite sizable.I'd recommend a consult with an otolaryngologist / facial plastic surgeon to see if one or both issues can be addressed.
Sorry to hear of your disappointing results.Voluma is an excellent filler for restoring cheek volume, and if done properly most patients are delighted with the results.A couple of points I'd add. Results are often volume dependent. And it often requires additional injections after a certain time period. Therefore, you may have been under-corrected, leading to your disappointment. In addition, the product is likely mostly gone now, a year later. You will be not only back to square one, but you have had another year of aging! Fillers require maintenance, with repeat injections at regular intervals, in order to best hold off the inevitable effects of getting older.Don't give up, but you may want to seek out another experienced injector. Best to choose from facial plastic, general plastic, oculoplastic, or dermatology.
Your surgeon is the one to call, and when you do, be very specific about exactly what has transpired.Do not go to the ER unless you have heavy bleeding AND are unable to reach your surgeon. He or she has a commitment to you to care for any and every issue related to your surgery. Speaking as a rhinoplasty surgeon, I want to hear from my patient with ANY question or concern in the immediate post operative period.Wishing you the best for a successful recovery.
