After many years of being uphappy with a permanent baby belly, it was time to act. Early menopause added insult to injury and to be frank I felt very unattractive. So at 48 I decided to attend to the issues with plastic surgery. I chose my surgeon by visiting and being confident in his history and ability. On Monday I had the proceedures and now I'm five days out. Pain is not under control. I'm very uncomfortable and pretty much unable to do anything for myself. I'm very swollen and sore. It's way too early to see the results. I don't feel anything but pain so i will wait patiently to see and feel the results that will surely come. Then I will update this portion of the review. Updated on 8 Feb 2018: Still swelling and still changing shape. Disappointed in the amount of loose skin on my flanks but I am sure this will need a revision. I still get sore and exercise is difficult because of the swelling. Nerves must be working again because I get very odd random pains. I think it's good to be real about these procedures. Sometimes they are a starting point. I am currently reluctant to go to my PS for a review until the swelling has stopped completely. I also have a very thick scar which when my tummy swells becomes a shelf. I do believe this will need further revision. As I am considering a leg lift and lipo I feel the revisions would be better done at the same time.
