After years of being unhappy with my thighs, I finally made the decision to have Vaser liposuction on them. I had been recommended Dr Vlok by a friend that had previously had lipo for her cankles. I thought I would need my full thighs and knees done but Dr Vlok felt I'd benefit from inner thighs and outer thighs with my knees. He was absolutely correct. My thighs are now in great shape and excellent proportion with my body. I was really worried my skin would wrinkle or be bumpy but it's very smooth. The inner thighs were a little delicate for a few weeks but after 4 weeks I felt great. Thank you so much to everyone involved, from my initial phone call I felt in great hands. Dr Vlok you have given me a newfound love for my body. I love that I am able to wear shorts with confidence for the first time ever. I very much recommend Dr Vlok and his team, thank you all so much.
I had a lipo in 2014 by some doctor in London who took everything from my lower tummy and left the upper tummy. I was left with an unbalanced tummy. With the added horror of permanent lots of lumps and bumps. All the day had been removed from my lower tummy to the extent that I was very self-conscious in front of my partner and dare not go out to swimming pool or beach which I live to do. All I wanted was to have a bit of fat removed and a bit of definition and it turned out to be a total disaster. I wanted a more smooth commensurate finish. Being desperate and not knowing how to have this sorted I heard about dr. Vlok and after a lot of research, I decided to go and see him. From the first moment I felt very confident in him and decided to have a revision done by him on 4th September 2017. Everything went smoothly first pictures were at 5 weeks which clearly showed this was going to be a success. I now have a new partner and I’m on the beach, thank you dr. Vlok you’ve changed my life! This has improved my confidence and the way I feel about myself and was able again to wear a bikini. I could say that he is one of the very top experts in his field and was so pleased I had made the right decision in choosing him to fix my tummy. The clinic and staff were most friendly and helpful in every way and very professional. I would without a doubt recommend him any day to anyone who is considering a lipo procedure.
I have been left with lifelong injuries after a procedure with this man (who isn’t a surgeon) He has totally dismissed my concerns and ignored all communication. If you have had a similar experience please make contact with me asap so I can discuss what steps can be taken.
This man has left me with a terrible result. His work is beyond second rate and he has zero interest if you are not happy. I have tried everyway imaginable to contact him but he had ignored every attempt. He did my upper arms and they look botched and many people have commented. The clinic he did them at but who no longer use him have even officially acknowledged that the work was unacceptable. If you are looking for a good vaser surgeon then ignore the hype on his website and do your research as there are many others out there who will not leave you as I have been left.
I wish I had never met this guy , he has left me disfigured after poor vaser lipo .hes not even a plastic surgeon but a GP , he's ruined my lift uneven lipo over arms and legs over auctioned leaving rod marks loose skin and indents etc please go else where
Your pictures are useful to help give you an idea how best to proceed. In a nutshell: The cellulite phenomenon is not permanently curable. Curable might not be the correct term because more ladies present with it than those that don't, therefore it can be seen as a variation of normal. More importantly is to take note that liposuction by wichever technology does not guarantee anything. You have pockets of fat above your knee caps that are fairly straight forward to remove and that's about it. Your upper thighs responded well to the thigh lift and I do not think further liposculpting by whichever method will add benefit. Essentially, in my opinion, based on the photographs it is only your knees (mainly anterior and medial) that require some treatment
The chin is probably the most delicate area that we treat with liposuction and we therefore use low energy settings and thin cannulas. The more fat in the double chin that can be removed, the more significant the change in the person's profile. It can be rather dramatic and satisfying to both patient and clinician. Your age and lifestyle also contribute to a good outcome. Regarding your question about necrosis: This extremely rare phenomenon would occur with extensive burns as caused by over zealous superficial vaser at high energy and/or the liposuction stage is performed too aggressive and too superficial. Simply find a liposuctionist with experience and who had treated many chins and you will be fine. It can be a life changing experience and the result is visible to the patient every day being an exposed part of the human anatomy, the face&neck region.
Observing your age and weight I can imagine you might be best to avoid any treatment, for the time being in any case. Bodytite alone I would usually not consider for a patient in your profile. Cryolipo: I do not offer this treatment but I have over the past 18 months treated at least seven patients for complications after cryolipolysis (asymmetry, dents, lumps and bumps). After cryolipo the sub-dermal layer becomes very dense, fibrotic and resistant to vaser and cannulas. A straight forward process can then become very difficult in reaching the desired end point. I have treated patients in your profile who wanted a bit more definition of the abdomen with vaser and micro cannulas but you also have to take note that we work with what the patients have on offer regarding fat content as well as muscle tone and fitness. It becomes a cost benefit issue especially if the post op change is subtle.
Bodytite as a stand alone treatment is rather rare in our clinic. The areas that are susceptible to Bodytite (a technology driven by radio frequency) especially when used in conjunction with liposuction are the chin/ neck region, the inner thighs and the lower abdomen. Recovery is rather quick and depends on the age, gender and anatomical region treated. Compression garments are not an exact science. Duration and extent will be prescribed by the treating clinician.
The picture indicates you might have just too much excessive skin for a 'stand alone' liposuction treatment whether by Vaser or any power assisted method. The principal to treat arms like yours is to be able to help the patient by minimal invasion as we do with liposuction through tiny incisions and using fine specialist instruments. Obviously surgical skin removal will give the most dramatic result unfortunately with significant scarring. There is always room for a combination of treatments, surgical excision of excess skin with liposuction, simultaneously or in different phases. You might therefore consider the liposuction route initially, and know that if the skin is not retracting to your satisfaction excision of the excessive skin can then be considered.
