Last year, 05/12/2024, I was diagnosed with DCIS Grade III. Initial Stage 0, final report Stage 1. None of my nursing experience prepared me for the news of requiring at minimum Left Breast mastectomy. Ultimately I elected Double Mastectomy with DIEP Flap….With much hesitation initially. However, I was blessed with Dr. Rinkinen as my Plastic Surgeon and my experience was AWESOME from initial consultation throughout to final presentation. He explained all in “lay” terms & addressed all of my fears/ concerns. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL for my Oncology & Reconstruction team. Thank you, Dr. Rinkinen, for your support throughout. You’re the BEST!

Breast lift/ fat transfer/scar revision.. absolutely love how everything turned out ... He removed a scar that just held up fat pretty much. No more flank fat, looks amazing and so slimming. Breasts look like my teenage self even after radiation for the Big C.. process was so easy and stress free

It has been a journey to go through breast reconstruction after bilateral mastectomies, but Dr. Rinkinen has been very professional and listened to my concerns. I feel like my old self again. Thank you to the entire staff for their guidance through this difficult time.

He is awesome! He did an excellent job on my thigh lift. He was very patient in handling my thin skin and the hard time I had healing. His staff is wonderful also. Everyone is very supportive and professional.
