From the initial phone call and conversation with Admin. Lead, Lauren, the process was better than expected. Dr. Scheuer and his associate, Ashley, were so professional, kind, and generous with their time and information they shared. Even during the surgery they had the experience and talent to pivot to make the best decisions for me and my health. What I thought would be a scary experience, they turned into a very positive one. Well done. This is how healthcare should look and feel.

I am very pleased that I selected Dr. Jack Scheuer at Charlotte Plastic Surgery to do my Facelift. I developed confidence from my first consultation. He asked me what results I was looking for. He carefully explained with explicit detail what the procedure involved. Throughout every post surgery meeting further explanations were given and post surgery face products were provided . The results exceeded my expectations. His surgical skills created a soft and natural look.

I would start that upon meeting Dr. Scheuer, immediately I knew I was in great care. His initial consultation took 45 minutes, he explained the entire procedure to me (even though I am a nurse, he did not assume to skip over items for discussion). He explained the recovery process and the follow up plan to ensure I had an optimal outcome. The day before, he does his 'markings' to ensure the incisions are level, etc (this attention to detail is amazing when he uses a laser level!) The day of surgery, the surgical staff beginning with Myra and Hew, they were incredibly kind! After surgery, he provided his cell number to my spouse and personally called that evening to ensure I was doing well. I appreciate the number of visits post op because it is great to ensure I am healing correctly. I texted him with a question and he was very responsive and did not dismiss any of my concerns. Above all, I highly recommend Dr. Scheuer!

OMGOODNESS!! Dr. Scheuer was AMAZING!! From the first day I met him to my 3 month follow up this week, he has been nothing short of amazing!! He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and maybe the most thorough Dr. I’ve ever encountered! He took the time to understand me and hear what I wanted for my body and to be my best self! He was confident in his abilities and honest about the procedure in it’s entirety! Ashley his Assistant was also pretty amazing! She knows him and the job! She is also patient and very kind to the clients! I was drawn to Dr. S after viewing his profile on the website and on his Instagram! I noticed the before and after of many women of color who had the same procedure I was looking to have! On June 1st I had a breast reduction from a size G to a now C cup! During my recovery time he checked on me and even gave my husband his personal cell to call him if we needed him at anytime! I ended up needing him and my husband texted him, Dr. Scheuer was on vacation and still returned the text, not only did he text he called us and gave my husband instructions! He called his office and made sure they called me and checked on me! All the way around this has been a GREAT experience and I’m so glad I chose Dr. Scheuer! Thanks Dr! I have been to Dr. Scheuer for two procedures this year--a tummy tuck and a breast lift with implants. My results have far surpassed what I invisioned. Dr. Scheuer is a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in a plastic surgeon! Not only does he put in the work and the time to make sure the outcome is the best it can be but he and his nurse Ashley are great with following up after the procedure is over. This isn't an "in and out" deal. The follow up visits are more than other practices and you're always encouraged to reach out in between visits with questions. I will never go anywhere else and will refer all my friends interested in cosmetic procedures to him!

It started as a joke, yea sure I'll get my "tits done" after kids were done ruining them. We'll, finally pulled the trigger and I must say I'm sad I waited as long as I did but it was well worth the wait! I asked for a couple consultations with other surgeons but Dr. Scheuer was referred by a friend & I knew how happy she was with her results so I knew I'd be in good hands. I was not disappointed. From the first time I walked in the doors I felt comfortable. It seems silly because you're going in for a breast consultation but modesty & privacy are very respected & encouraged. Not one time did anyone in the office, & especially Dr. Scheuer, make me feel silly over my questions & I was never rushed through my concerns. I knew I wanted an augmentation but I had no clue of the different sizes or materials or shapes. Dr. Scheuer took the time to really educated so we could make an informed decision - I got to feel samples, try out various sizes, virtually see results with their Vectra 3d imaging unit. I described what I wanted, showed pictures, & we talked through what may work best based on body type & the "look" I wanted multiple times, including right before surgery, just to be sure everyone was on the same page. Very reassuring & gave me a lot of confidence going into the procedure. The results were incredible!!! I did have my implants under the muscle so I was sore & swollen for a couple days & it was hard to adhere to the weight restrictions but well worth following the guidelines for the results! The most important thing is to be true to yourself & honest about the end results you'll be happy with -- pictures for reference are very important but don't obsess about a number or a bra size. I couldn't be happier with the experience at CPS & with Dr. Scheuer!

I have wanted bigger breasts since I was 18 years old… 24 years later, here we are! I know that life is short. Time flies by our eyes in a millisecond. If you want to do this, you need to do this! The experience has been great so far. Absolutely no complaints. I was referred to Dr. Scheuer by a friend. He’s personable, caring, listens to you, and exceeded expectations in his craft! Staff are all great as well :) I was a small C cup, I told him I wanted Double Ds! I have had two children, but did not breastfeed more than 2 weeks. After researching things, I went with Ideal implants which are a multiple chamber saline implant made to feel more like silicone. Also, I bought sizers and decided on 450cc for my bigger breast (right side) and however much more for the smaller breast to be more symmetrical. Day of surgery was like a blur. First patient in at 6:45AM and I was home with implants by noon! Actual size were 405cc in the right and 495cc in the left. I took the pain medication every 6 hours for 5 days. I was never in any severe pain. Just weird feelings that changed from day to day. I’m now 6 weeks out, cleared from restrictions, and they look great! I know they’ll still change and settle slightly more with time, but straight after surgery I was a 34DDD, or 36DD (got my double Ds), and that hasn’t changed at all. I use bio oil twice a day, and I may or may not use these silicone strips for my scars. I’ve used them a couple of hours yesterday and today and when I took them off today, my skin was red. I look great in everything, and they made me feel fantastic!

I recommend Charlotte Plastic Surgery wholeheartedly! The whole staff was so helpful with every step of the process. Dr. Nyame did a peer-to-peer review when my insurance company first denied my procedure. Dr. Scheurer did my surgery to accommodate my schedule. He was friendly, professional and put me at ease. The results exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier! I never thought it'd be possible, but at 55 I am finally relieved of all that shoulder pain!
