Dr. Freidland is so kind and cares a lot about his patients. His staff took great care of me and he and Joanna always answered all of my many many questions. I would definitely give him 5 stars. He is in artist, and he will listen to all of your concerns. He's kind of fatherly and it's really sweet.
I received a shot of Kenalog from a nurse at an urgent care in Phoenix NOT DR.FRIEDLANDS office. Unfortunately, the shot did not go deep enough, as a side effect my fat on my left side of my buttocks started to sink in (fat atrophy). Dr. Friedland was able to fix it in less than 30 min! He's amazingUpdated on 27 Nov 2012:The procedure was painless and quick! I was able to drive myself there and drive home. I had an indentation on my left buttock the size of a quarter from a Kenalog shot that a PREVIOUS dr had given me. Dr. Friedland was able to take some fat from my inner thigh (I'm very thin to begin with) and transfer it to where my fat atrophy was. After the swelling was over with, you can't even tell that there was ever an indentation. As far as where Jack took my fat from...there are no signs that he had ever touched it! Dr. Friedland did warn me that it may possibly take two treatments, depending on how my body takes in the fat cells. Luckily, I just needed one procedure....The fat took just fine! Thank you Dr. Friedland!
Dr. Friedland is by far the best surgeon when it comes to augmentations. My saline implants looked so natural. They weren't too big or too small. I first had my augmentation back in 2004 and then had Jack replace my saline with silicone in 2011.
To correct a very minor bump on the side of my nose. This pyhsician performed rhinoplasty to correct a small bump on my nose. He completely changed the look of my nose - it was noticeable to everyone. I orginally had a slightly upturned nose. When he was done, it looked like a hook or parrot nose. Also, after a year, it actually collapsed and was sunken in on one side. I had to travel far to see a specialist in rhinoplasty redo's in order to try to correct the mess he made of my nose. Total cost to correct: $20,000.
Canthopexy is used to support the lower eyelid and it is one way to treat horizontal laxity. I doubt that it would provide benefit in your case, but not enough information is provided to make that determination. A repeat visit with your operating surgeon is necessary and you should ask why this happened, what the various alternatives are that will improve your condition, etc. If you are confused or disagree then you should see another surgeon for a second opinion. Do not make a decision based on advice given over the internet. You must be personally examined.
I would recommend that you be evaluated by your own personal physician regarding the idea of undergoing elective aesthetic surgery. If it is felt that the surgery would be a significant risk, then I would "get that thought out of your head." You would need to be off anticoagulants until they have absolutely no effect and that time would be decided by your physician and your plastic surgeon. You could commence taking them again during the post-op period after the risk of post-op bleeding has diminished. Remember: Discretion is the better part of valor.
I suggest that you schedule a consultation with Dr. Federico Zapata for breast augmentation. You may use my name for the referral. Best of luck!
Think of reconstructive or aesthetic rhinoplasty as a modification of the underlying structures such as the substructure of poles that hold up a circus tent. The skin is analogous to the canvas covering of the tent. Thin skin readjusts itself quicker and it shows the underlying structure of the nose more than thick skin, which takes longer to shrink and readjust. The surgeon will take that into consideration in determining what approach to use and how to modify the underlying structure by subtracting or adding cartilage, bone, etc., or rearranging it. I suggest you wait until you are in your later teens or early twenties to undergo surgery, as noses in males continue to grow and change until that time. Of course, if you have structural deformities that impede your breathing , corrective surgery should be entertained earlier.
You have what appears to be a large chest, so adding a significant volume to your breasts would be easy, but as you are concerned with looking too big, or fat, it is necessary to try on a larger bra, put a sizer in it and then put your clothes over that to see how you look. This is an easy thing to do and your plastic surgeon should be able to asist you in making a decision.
