I'm giving a series of Morpheus8 on the abdomen a shot to see if I can tighten up the upper portion of my stomach, which has remained more lax than I would like after a tummy tuck. This isn't surprising since my doctor recommended the fleur de lis and I refused given there was no point to doing a tummy tuck for me if I was going to end up hiding my stomach anyway! I returned to Dra. Jacy once again for an extended arm lift with lipo, lower body lift, preservative BBL after removing skin with the extra body lift, and lipo to the upper stomach to equalize my abdomen after doing a tummy tuck with her last year. Overall the experience was fantastic once again! Dra. Jacy did advise me immediately after surgery that I would need a revision on my right arm since it was my fatter arm and it swelled too much after lipo for a neat scar. I was warned about this before surgery as well so I was disappointed but not very surprised. I scarred worse than I expected with the arm lift but well within the normal range considering my left arm rejected a couple of deep sutures for unclear reasons. Also as expected, I lost a ton of fat with the BBL so the results are disappointing but far better than walking out of surgery with zero butt after removing nearly 5 pounds of skin from my lower back/butt. Wonderful experience! Updated on 13 Jun 2023: Results at two weeks. Still plenty of bruising and selling through the arms and lower back. My BBL results still looked very full at this point in time- I didn’t lose significant volume until about 6 weeks out. Updated on 13 Jun 2023: Here’s the difference in contour in the arms and back line just six weeks out from surgery. Huge improvement visible even that soon after surgery. Updated on 13 Jun 2023: These are my results at four months after surgery along with the couple of areas where my body rejected some sutures. It took forever for these areas to close up, leading to some pretty poor scarring compared to my tummy tuck scar and lower body lift scar. I still can’t complain as I’ve seen much worse scarring with brachioplasty. Updated on 13 Jun 2023: Noticeably worse scarring in the arms compared to the lower body lift but still not bad. I estimate it’ll take another six months or so for the red color to fade from the arm scars based on my tummy tuck experience. I did months of professional scar massage with a physical therapist with application of silicone sheets followed by Silagen gel twice a day and hitting the scars with my Theragun twice a day. I have some residual numbness in my left forearm and over the areas just behind my pelvis along the lower body lift scars but both areas are improving so the nerves seem to be regrowing normally.
I needed pretty extensive septoplasty surgery to correct a deviated septum, fix collapsed nasal valves on both sides, and a redo of an unsuccessful 2017 turbinectomy. At the same time I decided to shift to a septorhinoplasty to correct the hump in my nose and added on chin lipo. I'm once again very pleased with Dr. Jacy's work and post-operative care... She stayed with me until I was discharged just to make sure I was okay!
After losing 100lbs nearly a decade ago I was left with tons of extra skin. I consulted with multiple surgeons in the US and in Mexico but had a lot of trouble finding a surgeon who I felt comfortable with and who respected that I wanted to maintain a very active lifestyle after surgery. Thankfully I met Dra. Jacy! From my first consult, I felt totally comfortable and reassured by Dra. Jacy's competence, professionalism, and focus on natural results. I'm now two days after surgery- tummy tuck, 400cc Motiva SmoothSilk implants, and inner thigh lipo- and I have absolutely no regrets! Please note that Dra. Jacy understands a fair amount of English but doesn't really speak it so she's best for fluent Spanish speakers!
