You cannot find a better Plastic Surgeon anywhere ! Caring, kind , compassionate and truly cares about you, as a patient. He is the best. You will never find anyone better than than Dr Summitt !!! Cudos to my favorite Dr ever !! Jean Dodds
Hi, I cannot say enough good about this Dr, I had a Botched Co2 Laser done in Memphis, Tennessee. My lower face was totally burned from one ear to the other. I had Hypertrophic Scars . My face was ruined. He is the only Dr that would see me. I went to 4 BSPS and they said they hadn’t seen anything like this except in textbooks. I even sought out help in Gulf Shores, Al. I went to see Dr Blair Summitt, at Vanderbilt in Nashville,TN. My complete story with pictures is on Real Self I do not trust any PS in Memphis . He made no guarantees because when you are dealing with burns as bad as this was, you cannot. He said I know I can make it better. He did say my face and texture of my face will never be the same But, he said just be patient and we will work on it. This happened (the Burn) on November 30,2017. I just cannot say enough good about this man. He is kind, caring, compassionate and I will never let anyone touch my face in Memphis. TN. I owe it all to God And Dr Summitt using his God given talents. Thank you , Jean Dodds, Collierville, TN. We are not there yet but he does give me hope
I have had really bad back problems over the last 7-8 years and been through like a thousand different treatments. My breast size was a K-cup, yes I said a K-cup I had been trying to get them reduced for ever....well last year May 2017, they finally approved it. I expected for them to give me some relief, but I must say that Dr. Summitt, exceeded my expectations. They look like I have had implants put in, because they are PERFECT...my daughter says I have 20 year old [RS bleep] and she is jealous...but all jokes aside, I did expect to have them be somewhat smaller and give me some relief, but they are perky and pretty...I show them off every chance I get and that is so not me, but you have to see them to believe them!
Dr. Summitt is the best! He changed my life. Im a 31 year old mother of two. I went to see him for a tummy tuck because I had a low hanging stomach. I had a panniculectomy/ mini-tummy tuck. I went from a tight size 20 to a comfortable 16. Im 6 weeks post-op so I think I will be more of a 14. My stomach and hips looks great! My incisions sit below my panties. My belly button looks like its real. He is a very sweet man. Dr. Summitt is very busy but ALWAYS makes time for his patients. He will spend as much time with you as you need. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.
I was referred to Dr. Summitt by a friend who had a wonderful experience with her procedure. When I called to make an appointment for a consultation I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get an appointment. When I met Dr. Summitt I was immediately at ease by his down to earth demeanor. He was very professional in discussing options, answering any questions that I had and made sure I didn't feel rushed in scheduling surgery. The procedure was a great success. Dr. Summitt's skills as a surgeon are outstanding! I would definitely give him 5 stars. He is the whole package, great skill and bedside manner, a wonderful support staff, and when you show up for your appointment you are seen at your scheduled time. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. I was so impressed with the results of the first procedure that I went back a few months later for a different one. Again, the consistency was there. I knew that I was getting the best treatment from a first class, knowledgeable plastic surgeon who I could trust to get the desired result. I will continue to consult Dr. Summitt for further needs in the future. I have recommended him to other friends as well.
This has really happened very fast but it's something I have wanted for a few years. I am planning on implants with a good possibility of a lift. Dr said i was right on the line of needing one. I initially picked 450cc but went back again and now down to 400. I think that is the best decision. yikes! Updated on 24 Mar 2015: Surgery was done in November of 2014. All has gone very well. I was a 36c before. Now I am a dd or ddd depending on the bra store. I have some small concerns and I want to get some feedback from someone other than my family.
Thanks for the question. Based on your photos, you do not have tuberous breasts in my opinion. It appears you have normal breast asymmetry with ptosis (drooping) of your breasts. I think you are an excellent candidate for a breast lift procedure, and if you desire larger more fuller breasts, a breast augmentation in combination with a breast lift. I think you should expect an excellent result with either procedure.
Thanks for the question. This can be a troublesome area to improve without intervention. Exercise likely won't make a significant change. I would advise liposuction to recontour this area. This can be done in a brief outpatient procedure. Best of luck!
Thanks for the question. Bruising of this type is not unusual within the 1st week after surgery. It should fade over the next week or so. However, if you see additional changes, you should feel comfortable contacting your surgeon’s office with questions and concerns. Best wishes!
Thank you for the question. I would avoid any attempt at reducing your areolar size at your initial breast augmentation. I think if you choose an implant that isn’t too large and fits your breast diameter well, you likely won’t see much of a change in areolar size. I would suggest an incision in your inframmary fold and have the implant placed under the muscle. You may require a lift at some point, but I would wait. Some techniques to reduce areolar size can reduce nipple projection or flatten the nipple areolar complex, so you will want to discuss all options with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes!
Thanks for the question. Based on your photo, it appears that an abdominoplasty is not the appropriate operation for you. You may qualify for a panniculectomy, but you will certainly need to be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon. Insurance qualification is based on several factors which may include BMI, stable weight, how low does your skin hang, repeated skin rashes, etc. This procedure is considered “functional” rather than cosmetic and the umbilicus is typically not spared. At your weight and with diabetes, your are likely at a higher risk for wound healing complications and possibly other issues, so I would advise medical clearance for the procedure and again, a thorough examination and consultation with your plastic surgeon. Beat of luck.
