Thin Scar on My Cornea?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Corneal scars, just like any other scars on your body, may not disappear completely.  They may somewhat fade over time. The location and the cause of the scar are the determining factors in what your vision will be once everything heals.

Need an Urgent Advice Regarding my Eye Problem?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Sound you might have suffered from EKC - Epidemic KeratoConjunctivitis. It's a severe form of viral conjunctivitis that can leave corneal scarring.  Generally the scars will fade over time but may not go away completely, therefore may slightly affect your vision.  Your doctor will be better able to give an accurate prognosis.  Aggressive lubrication and sometimes steroid drops are used to treat/alleviate symptoms.  Sounds like you are receiving correct treatment.

I Am Considering PRK or Lasik for Astigmatism, but is It Too High?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Not true.  Both PRK and LASIK are capable of correcting your amount of astigmatism with excellent results.  Your doctor will be able to determine which procedure will suit you best.
