Procedure: Buttock augmentation with implants
Primary surgery date: May 27, 2024
Revision surgery: March 5, 2025
Implants: Biconvex buttock implants (Sebbin, 410 mL)
On May 27, 2024, I underwent a buttock augmentation with biconvex Sebbin implants (410 mL). A noticeable asymmetry was visible very soon after surgery, with the right side positioned significantly lower than the left.
As the healing process progressed, the situation did not improve. Instead, over the following weeks, both implants appeared to descend further. From my perspective, the implants are positioned excessively low, which has had a strong negative impact on the overall aesthetic outcome.
A revision surgery was performed by the same surgeon on March 5, 2025 on my cost. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issues. The asymmetry remains clearly visible, and the resulting scar is, in my opinion, aesthetically unfavorable. Additionally, the infragluteal fold (“banana roll”) has become much more pronounced than it was prior to any surgery, further affecting the appearance of the buttocks.
I am disappointed with the current result and believe that a significant correction is still necessary. I am now in the process of seeking independent professional evaluations and would appreciate opinions or shared experiences from patients or surgeons with expertise in buttock implant revisions and corrective procedures.
