Sculptra is a great product for most patients and tends to be a favorite of many cosmetic providers including our office. It has benefits beyond some of the other fillers. Most providers avoid direct injection of Sculptra into the tear trough, however, the fibroblast collagen production can spill over into adjacent treated areas and improve the tear trough appearance. Also, by adding a little generalized volume and thereby creating an upward and lateral pull, this product can redrape the cheek area providing a better appearance to the tear trough.
Hello, we recommend not to get any injectables while you are pregnant or nursing because there has not been sufficient studies to know whether its safe. Also, fillers have not been approved for use during that time.
You can get a chemical peel the same day as Dysport. We recommend the peel first because you cannot lie down after Dysport for 4 hours. Another reason for the peel to go first is that the needle entry points will allow more of the peel acid to penetrate more than what is intended which would not be recommended.
