Absolutely! You would be an excellent candidate for the O-Shot. The PRP is meant to help stimulate growth factors and increase blood vessels and collagen in the area of the vagina and clitoris which in turn helps with sexual desire and orgasm, even if you were unable to have one in the past. We have had several patients recently who have never achieved orgasm and are amazed at the results. Results vary from person to person but may last up to a year.
The O-Shot can definitely improve stress urinary incontinence (leaking with cough, laugh, sneeze). The PRP injected into the wall of the anterior vagina is used to bring growth factors in to stimulate collagen and new blood vessels which can improve incontinence. This may be improved even further if you combine it with a treatment such as diVa laser vaginal resurfacing.
Thanks for your question. A certified O-Shot provider is who should look for in your area to provide this procedure. Typically 5mL of PRP is obtained from your blood and injected into the clitoris (1mL) and the anterior wall of the vagina where you G spot is located (4mL).
After childbirth, your body needs time to naturally heal on it's own. The vulva and vagina will return back to a baseline once the hormones from pregnancy and childbirth have also returned to a baseline. In addition, the pelvic floor and surrounding tissues need time to heal from the possible trauma after a delivery. I would recommend to wait at least 6-8 weeks after a vaginal delivery and at least 3 months after a Cesarean delivery.
