Staff was super professional and caring. Everything was addressed upfront. Dr. H comes highly recommended in my book. I had TUBA and went from baby C to a full D. Extremely happy with results and so is my husband!!
Very skeptical on getting breast augmentation because of so many horror stories. Finally, 7 months after the birth of my son I decided was the right time. I went to big sky cosmetics. Long story short, my boobs look better then my friend who nearly spent 20g. This guy is an artist. 360cc saline, Tuba
I gave birth to twins 25 years ago, they were large and I had stretch marks up to my rib cage. 3 years go I lost 130 pounds and this year I decided I wasn't going to spend another year tucking my stomach into my pants. After consulting with my surgeon he recommended a fleur de lis tummy tuck because of the amount of excess skin I have above my belly button. Fortunately, my abdomen muscles were very tight so I didn't need to have my muscles tightened. I am planning on adding pictures of my recovery as I progress. Day one was spent in bed with the exception of my doctor's visit. Day 2 most of the day in bed but I was up walking around the house quite a lot Day 3 went to Home Depot and lunch it was only a couple of hours. On this day I was on Tylenol during the day and pain killers at night Day 4 was busy all day and went to dinner with friends and saw my surgeon there. My next appt he asked he saw me at a restaurant and I said yes. He said he was surprised to see me out. Day 5 went out shopping with friends but needed a nap in the afternoon Day 6 on I feel pretty good, I have to be careful getting in and out of the car but other than wearing a binder in 90 degree heat I am doing well. July 18 Dr. Appt he is concerned the skin above the belly button may not be tighted enough and may need to be excised more. I guess we will see in a few days. I will add a before picture as soon as I get one from the Dr. Office I think not having to have my muscles repaired has made a huge difference in my recovery. Updated on 6 Aug 2014: Time flies when you are recovering! Everything seems to be healing well and I'm back to pretty much normal activity with the exception of lifting things. We are still waiting to see how the skin above the belly button flattens out but over all I am very pleased. I am astounded at how flat my tummy is! Updated on 20 Aug 2014: Things are rolling right along! I'm feeling great and healing well. Updated on 7 Jun 2016: Nearly two years have passed. My dr offered to fix the loose skin above my belly button last summer but I became to busy. This summer I will take him up on the offer. You can see the top of my tummy is saggy. The scars are improving all the time. The ends are barely visible. The Fluer de Lis was the right choice for me. My skin was very damaged from having a set of fairly large twins.
I saw Dr. Hetherington because my best friend had her boob job done by him. I had seen her results and was very impressed. I really like Dr. Hetherington and his staff. They made me feel like I mattered a ton to them and it felt sincere. My surgery went really well and I couldn't be happier. I plan to refer all my friends to Dr. Hetherington.
I had a TUBA breast augmentation, (augmentation through my belly button). I couldn't be happier with my results. Dr. Hetherington really listened to me, supported me and did the most amazing surgery. He is so smart, too. I hear he has invented medical instruments. He has my endorsement all the way!
I had a TUBA (trans-umbilical breast augmentation). The staff were wonderful. They answered my many questions and made me feel comfortable before I made the appointment. The consultation was very thorough and I booked that same day. The surgery and recovery were surprisingly easy. I'm so happy with the results! It was the best thing I've ever done. Highly recommended!
I've known that I wanted my nose done since I was in middle school. I would get made fun of and teased by people and eventually it got to the point where I would get anxiety about going to school. I thought I was to scared to get rhinoplasty so I just decided to deal with it. Well that's not the case. I'm a hairdresser so I stand in front of a mirror 8 to 10 hours a day and I know my clients can see my profile I tried to block it out of my mind that clients can stare at my nose all day every day but as everyday passes it just got worse. So enough about feeling sorry for myself :) I turn 30 in march and its time to do something for myself so I can stop dwelling on my nose and move on with my life. I had my consultation January 11th with Dr. Heatherington in Bozeman , Montana. I live 2 hours away but I have gone to him before for breast aug. (yes I thought getting a boob job would help my self esteem with my nose but I was wrong....) he did the picture morphing and I loved what I saw right away!! I think I have more anxiety now because I want it done right now and I don't want have to wait another 37 days I hope my surgery will go well and I will keep everyone posted. Some of the reviews on here make me nervous because some are still not happy with their nose but I'm hoping it will be better than what I have now. Here is to being 30 and fabulous!!! Updated on 19 Jan 2013: After reading some of the reviews I'm not gonna lie I'm freaked out. Some people's noses look worse or not any better than before. I'm trying to stay positive so I don't chicken out but not knowing if it will turn out scares me. I feel like it can't be any worse than what I have but clearly it's happened to other people...need some encouraging words from people that have had positive experiences :( Updated on 27 Jan 2013: I'm just curious if anyone took arnica or used the arnica gel to help with bruising?? Also if anyone had to take a steroid after surgery to help with swelling?? Updated on 16 Feb 2013: 5 more days to go and it will finally be done!!!! I didn't think I was getting nervous but the insomnia and stomach aches I think are a sign that I'm actually pretty damn scared... Oh and the excessive cleaning ! Ha!! I'm just trying to think of how amazing it will be to finally have a decent nose and the pros out way the cons!! I'm just trying to keep up on everyone's posts and advice on here and go with the flow!! Updated on 21 Feb 2013: Well here we go!! Getting ready to leave in a half hour and I'm not nervous at all!!! (Strange) I think I'm sick of not sleeping and having bad anxiety I'm just ready to get it over with. I've waited 15 years for this so here is to being 30 and soon to be more fabulous!!!! Updated on 21 Feb 2013: Wow it's finally done!!!! I went in at 9:00 and didn't feel nervous at all! I'm pretty sore but I've had worse pain before after a root canal. I will try to posted more pics soon!!! Updated on 22 Feb 2013: The recovery has not been a breeze by any means but I'm sure it could be worse. i don't think the pain medication is strong enough I have to take one every 3 hours and by the time the 2nd hour has gone by I'm in massive amounts of pain to where it brings me to tears, does this happen to anyone else? Don't get me wrong my nose is already WAY smaller even with the swelling so I really shouldn't complain but it freaking hurts!! Those of you ladies that have had an easy recovery with no pills are bad a$$ lol!! Updated on 23 Feb 2013: Well today is by far the worst. Post op day 3 and I can hardly see out of my eyes. I might post some pictures but I will admit they are really scary. I was thinking this was going to be a lot easier than it is. I think once the splits are takin out my life will be a lot easier. Love my doctor and his nurses are amazing and I know the results will be awesome but to hard to tell with all the swelling I know the length is much shorter and I am really excited about that but these splints are enough to drive a person crazy!! Updated on 25 Feb 2013: Got my splints removed and cast off and it feels amazing! I'm still pretty stuffy and can't taste anything I hope this is normal?! My upper lip and eyes are still swollen I still can't tell what my nose will look like to much swelling trying not to freak out. Updated on 26 Feb 2013: Well it's 5 days post op and my tip is still super swollen along with my lips and checks. I really hope it will go back to normal soon my smile looks awful because I'm still so puffy. How long does this last? I just want to look some what normal before I have to back to work in 5 days! Updated on 27 Feb 2013: So today is the first dayI have faith that I did the right thing. It's amazing how the swelling really messed with my psyche ;) I'm going to post some pics dont mind the crazy hair I haven't found the energy to get completely ready for the day yet I'm workin on that!
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone for a breast augmentation he has option a. 5900 Saline b. 6900 silicone he will only do the Saline through your bellybutton"TUBA" which will destroy your stomach muscles, and he will only do the silicone through your armpit even the nurse said that I would have an arm "vagina" for life with this surgery.... when he took my measurements I felt very uncomfortable and he did lots of nipple tugging and pulling which is not necessary for proper measurements. Also I am in exotic dancer and his nurse said that he better do a good job since I would be naked often which was an immediate red flag ... spoke with one woman who had surgery done by him and she said she is 75% pleased with her results but still has occasional pain that he will not treat or give any sort of responsibility for ...Luckily I found a different doctor in Montana but whatever you do do not go to this smoke and mirrors office of hell!!!
In the beginning, the experience was alright. I trusted him. Dr. Hetherington wasn't exactly personable but his staff was. I loved going to see Peggy. Anyways, I had a rhinoplasty in April 2015. After surgery I noticed I had quite a bit of nostril exposure. I decided to consult Dr. Hetherington about it. We decided to do a series of steroid injections in the nose. Not only was the experience completely horrifying but it hurts like hell. Dr. Hetherington either injected the needle to deep, or put to much steroid solution into my nose, around Jan 2016. I had a dent, bruising, and persistent pain where the needle was injected on the right side of the bridge of my nose. My nurse from a different office asked me "why do you have a dent on your nose?" and if I wanted a second opinion. I agreed to an appointment for a second opinion, then ended up canceling after all the research and homework that I did. I realized that I had a good understanding of what had happened. I tried to talk to Dr. Hetherington about it. He acted like he couldn't even see the dent and as if I was crazy.... then I told him that "I trusted him but my nurse could see the dent and she wanted me to get a second opinion." His demeanor changed. Since then, I've had one more steroid shot in the tip of the nose. The shot was at half the solution by my request. The idea was to even out the atrophy on the bridge and the swelling in the tip of the nose. I gave my nose 1 year to fill itself in. I've refused anymore steroid shots because he wanted to put a forth one into my tip. I've also had to have Dr. Hetherington literally dig into my surgical scar to remove a complete stitch that scar tissue grew around over a year after surgery. I'm disappointed by the experience. I will forever be humbled by it though. On the bright side I do like my profile better than my original. Like others say... do your homework. Look at before and after photos. Go to multiple consultations. Trust your gut. Choose a BOARD CERTIFIED surgeon wisely. Im pretty sure that I now need to go to a second surgeon to have fillers to correct my slight deformity. That's another 3-4k not including traveling costs on top of the $7,565.00 I already paid. According to Dr. Hetherington... I "got a perfect result, should not do fillers, and am the only person who can see the flaw."
I was an a cup to start. I had my first surgery almost 6 years ago from him, another six months later, and another a year after that. They were all horrible experiences and I am left botched. Picture below speak 1000 words. I know many, many people who he botched. Please do your research on Board Certification and education!!!
There are at least three reasons that may contribute to the visibility of the mark on your forehead. The contour deformity is the most obvious. It's difficult to say from the photograph alone, but there may be some pigment or skin texture differences that are contributing to the appearance also. Synthetic filler or fat will correct the contour. Synthetic filler is the easiest but will need to be periodically repeated. Fat grafting can result in a more permanent correction but may take more than one procedure to get it just right. Also, fat grafting is a bigger deal because it is truely a surgical procedure and requires fat to be harvested from a donor site.If there is pigment in the indentation, a laser may lighten it. Texture changes can be addressed with dermabrasion where the skin is literally sanded smooth. Surgical excision will address all three potential concerns but does result in a scar. However, the face heals remarkably well and scars in this area usually fade considerably. I would recommend starting with some type of filler and then consider the other options if you are not satisfied with the result.
It takes four to six months to get to a final result from fat grafting. It is not unusual to have asymmetrical bruising and swelling one week afterwards. Providing that the same volumes and technique were used on both sides of the face, the final result should leave you as symmetric as you were before surgery. Drawing on the face before surgery is one way for the surgeon to plan and control the fat grafting procedure however, I can't say that it's "extremely essential." Every surgeon has his/her own technique.
A mid-face lift is a little different from the procedure we usually think of as facelift. In a classic facelift, an incision is made around the ears and into or along the hairline above and behind the ears. The skin is elevated from the deeper tissue in a relatively superficial plane. This separates the sensory nerves from the receptors in the skin. Because the nerves have relatively short distance to regenerate, the recovery of sensation is usually relatively quick, taking several weeks.A mid-face lift on the other hand involves elevation of the tissue in a much deeper plane, usually on the bone. The zygomaticofacial nerve and the infraorbital nerve are typicaly encountered where they exit the facial bone. The zygomaticofacial nerve is small, provides sensation to a small area in the region of the cheekbone and if it is cut, there is usually minimal noticeable numbness. The infraorbital nerve is the main nerve providing sensation to the mid-face. It is important to avoid cutting it during a mid-face lift. And, I should add that the infraorbital nerve is fairly easy to locate and preserve so it is not likely that they were cut. However, even when both nerves are preserved, they can be stretched, which can result in prolonged numbness. This usually improves or resolves over time but it may take a year or two to see maximal improvement. Being patient and giving it time is about all you can do at this point. A neurologist is not likely to tell you anything different.
Liposuction of the ankles, calves, and knees will typically not yield enough fat to be worth grafting into the breasts. It is unlikely that the small amount of fat removed from these areas will make any noticeable volume enhancement of your breasts.
Turbinectomy and septoplasty can usually be performed without a rhinoplasty. However, if you are seriously considering a rhinoplasty, doing it in conjunction with the septoplasty and turbinectomy is probably the way to go. You should discuss this with your surgeon.
