1- Use ice on the area of injection but never massage the area as it might push the botox to unwanted muscles close by 2- Usually I recommend my patients to not to lay down for 4 hours post injection 3- I also asked them to not do strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Thanks for your question The Urine Drug Screen test is not affected by the Restylane and Lidocaine. Lidocaine is not a controlled substance and is usually not targeted in the Urine Drug Test.
There are few possible reasons for Botox to not to work as expected 1- Men usually have stronger facial muscles compare to women and will require more units of botox. 2- Botox in some of the patients may take up to 7 days to show full effects. 3- Rarely, some patients have antibodies against botox which makes them more resistant and may need more units compare to others. 4- Unfortunately some of the providers may dilute the botox too much which makes the injection less effective.
Botulinum Toxin is working at local muscle/nerve level and has no effect on the Kidneys or their function when used for cosmetic purposes and dosages.
