After carefully researching surgeons in the San Diego area, I found Dr.Salazar at LJCSC. My experience here has absolutely been a 10/10. Right from the start, scheduling my complimentary consultation was easy and the coordinator answered all my questions. The facility is beautiful, clean and feels very luxe. Nurse Carmen was such a sweetheart and eased my nervousness by assuring me they would take the best care of me. She carefully answered all my questions and honestly made me feel like she cared about my well being. The consultation with Dr.Salazar was amazing. He took to time to thoroughly answer all my questions and was so sincere and friendly. I immediately knew I was at the right place. I booked my surgery the day of my consultation. Pre op appointment went great. Nurse Carmen took her time to answer all my questions and inform me of what to expect on surgery day and recovery. Surgery day was great. Nurse Nicole cared for me on surgery day and was the sweetest. The anesthesiologist met with me before surgery and answered all my questions. I've never felt nervous or anxious the day of surgery because I knew I was in the right place. Right before surgery Dr. Salazar came and checked on me and assured me everything will turn out great. The peace of mind and calmness I felt on surgery day was amazing. Recovery from surgery was incredibly amazing as well. I woke up from anesthesia feeling a bit sore and went home. I was able to sleep it off and took my medication's as assigned to keep pain under control. I am about 2 1/2 weeks postop and so far loving my results. Stop taking pain medication for days after surgery but continue the rest of my medications as prescribed. My postop appointments have gone great so far and the doctor has assured me that things are healing as they should. I am looking forward to my final results but will be patient and continue to follow all instructions from the team. At 28 years old, I thought long and hard about proceeding with the surgery. I am 100% confident that I made the right decision in choosing Dr.Salazar and his team and wholeheartedly recommend them. Yay for boobies!!

I just got my breasts augmented yesterday 5/20/21 and I'm so thrilled. I went to several doctors who all were recommended, but doctor Salazar, Carmen, and team were the best! He is very informative, listened to what I wanted (even a second time when I went in a different direction), and is just so kind. I connected with him and Carmen right away. He was my first consult, and after meeting the others it just solidified he was definitely the doctor for me. Surgery day all the doctors and nurses were all great, and I was on schedule and not waiting around. Dr Salazar and I discussed 445 cc or 485 cc Inspira Moderate profile and I told him he could make the final call. He went with 485 cc and that's what I was hoping for! I want to share my photos and journey here because this site helped me immensely, in what I would consider one of the hardest decisions I ever have made! So far I'm thrilled and I can't wait to see and share my progress! Updated on 24 May 2021: I was exhausted and slept a ton on day 3. No pain just a lot of tightness. I took Monday / tomorrow off work so I can try to go off the painkillers. I'm in somewhat of a fog from the medications. I super bored and over laying around already, but I know I need to rest and recover. Updated on 24 May 2021: Today I plan on trying to not take any painkillers so I am out of a fog. Took a walk down to the harbor to grab a coffee. I wish they would drop and fluff already, but I know it's going to be a while. No pain so far today. I feel like I'm ok to move around a bit more than I have been. Updated on 25 May 2021: Was a bit uncomfortable, but back to work today. Feeling some zingers. Took muscle relaxer and a tiny bit of pain meds after work. Progress seems soooo slow, but they are looking great! I can't wait to see them drop and fluff. I'm happy to share this with others since it was so important for me to make my decision of size. Updated on 25 Jul 2021: They look really incredible, and have dropped so perfectly. They look natural yet large, which is exactly what I wanted. I have been wearing sports bras and bralettes, so not sure about my final size. I'm going to go this week to be fitted for bras. I feel almost back to normal. I am struggling with pushups, and haven't been doing bootcamp, but otherwise doing great. I couldn't be more happy at this point! Updated on 1 Dec 2022: This was the best decision I could have made for myself. I’m extremely pleased and have had no complaints or complications. I feel so fortunate I found an amazing doctor who I really connected with and communicated effectively with me.

I am so happy that I chose Dr. Salazar-Reyes and LJCSC for my breast augmentation. I've always known in my mind the size and look I wanted, but he was actually able to achieve it because of how thorough he is during the consult. The implants fit my frame beautifully and I have received so many compliments from my friends about how natural they look. The staff (including his nurse Carmen) is amazing and Dr. Salazar spent tons of time answering all of my questions. I never felt rushed or pressured. I highly highly recommend him; you will be in talented hands!

Had my silicone implants removed along with a lift. Had my implants in for about 6 years and I was over it. Was getting some costochondritis pain on the left side. I knew it was my implant because when I would lay down, it would tug to the left. I had no other problems before then, so I was able to enjoy looking at my cute boobs for awhile. They were not too big (350 cc). I liked the way they looked, but instead of getting the left boob fixed, I decided to just get them taken out. Dr. Salazar is amazing! He's so meticulous in his craft, he's compassionate, super nice and I appreciate the care he's provided this far (along with his nurses Rachel and Carmen). I am now almost 4 weeks post op and I'm still a bit swollen, but I'm healing well and I'm feeling better with each day passing. I know that I still have some healing to go, but I'm satisfied overall with how my explant and lift worked out! I'm loving the small boobies look. Plus, my boobs haven't been this perky since I was a teen (I'm 42 now). Thank you Dr. Salazar! I'm highly recommending him to anyone that lives in the San Diego area (or if you're willing to fly out to sunny SoCal!) for great results, compassionate care and skilled work to perfection!

Dr. Hector Salazar was going to perform male breast reduction. Carmen was great she checked up on me throughout following the surgery, to make sure everything was going ok. Dr Salazar was superb, he was very descriptive and he knew what he was doing. It’s been six weeks since the surgery and I am loving the results. I wish I would have done this sooner. I highly recommend Dr. Salazar as well as LJSC the whole experience from the unique waiting room to laying down in the heated comfortable surgical bed were perfect. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

This summer, I went on a mission to finally get a breast augmentation. I’ve always had naturally larger breast (34D bra size), but the lack of fullness always made me self conscious. I went on several consultations. I think maybe I was really anxious and wanted to make sure I found the right doc before pulling the trigger on such a huge thing for myself. I definitely knew I found the right doctor the second I met him. The initial consultation was so thorough... he answered questions I didn’t even realize I had. I felt so comfortable that I went home and immediately canceled the other consultations I had scheduled the following week (but seriously, is there any such thing as too much due diligence?) I decided to let Dr. Salazar-Reyes pick my implant size for me. I trusted that he’d pick the right size and projection for my body. I also wanted him to revise some areas I had previously treated with liposuction that had contour deformities. Then of course, I decided to add on some more areas of lipo because, why not? Fast forward to waking up from surgery. Utterly beyond happy. I’m currently 8 days out of surgery and have had absolutely zero pain. I’m definitely sore and swollen, but not suffering at all. My breasts and body look exactly how I wanted them to. We ended up going with 615 cc silicone ultra high profile subglandular implants. It doesn’t look like I had breast implants at all. They basically look like mine... except bigger and prettier. The lipo in my abdomen and thighs looks smooth and despite the swelling and bruising, I can tell it’s perfect and natural looking as well. I plan on taking some really great pictures to post on here, so stay tuned! I just wanted to make sure I gave credit where credit was due.
