I am very pleased with my decision to have a breast enhancement. I was a very small A with all the volume in the bottom of my breast (below the nipple) and felt very self-conscious, especially in bathing suits. I have a petite frame 5'1 107 lbs so I didn't want to go too large, but I wanted my clothes to fit better and to fell confident in a bathing suit.
I went to several consultations before I found the right fit. Once I found the right fit I took in several celebrity photos to give my surgeon what I was looking for (people who were similar in build to me). At my pre-op appointment I wore my favorite padded bra and told my surgeon I wanted to look exactly as I did with a padded bra on. He took several pictures of me in the bra and assured me we could achieve what I wanted. We had agreed on a the number of CCs.
The day of surgery, once he put me under and filled my implants (saline) he made the executive decision to use a smaller amount of CC's because he said that once he filled them he felt it was bigger than what I had discussed with him. I am so happy he did! My result is perfectly natural. Not even my closest friends noticed a difference in my frame with out a bathing suit on it was modest and natural. I feel that my surgeon knew EXACTLY what I wanted before I went in because I was very thorough in my expression about how I wanted to look.
It was extremely painful, I had mine placed behind the muscle, and I was in a lot of pain for about 3 days, and uncomfortable for about a week after. I was well prepared for this though, because the staff did a great job informing me about what to expect. I was off work for a total of 3 business days (with a weekend too), but would recommend taking a few more if you can. I am so happy that I did it, would do it again, and would send anyone to my doctor
