Dr. Dick is professional at everything he does!!! I love visiting his practice! I’m always happy with my results!! I have been visiting his practice for over two years! Before I would go to different doctors some that even gave me horrible outcomes and then I found Dr. Dick and he corrected everything, I have been seeing him since.

Had a small lipoma on my shoulder for 8 years - in the past 3, it became massive. Since it was on my back, I couldn't see it or really even feel it - even though I swam laps every day. I continually postponed having it removed as it would keep me out of the pool for 3-4 weeks. However, as I work in the health industry, it was unacceptably hideous. Honestly, by the time I got it removed, it was about as big as the top of a baby's head - literally, I was Quasimodo. I consulted with a number of plastic surgeons in Los Angeles (where I live) and in the suburbs of Washington, DC (where my parents live). The size of the lipoma was alarming to many providers. The others, including the famous Dr. Pimple Popper, Dr. Lee, had schedules that were impossible to navigate. The advantages is that it was soft and malleable. It was above the muscle, not below, and well encapsulated so that the removal was meant to be relatively simple. FINALLY, I met the kind and extremely capable Dr. Gregory O. Dick (or G.O.D. as his friends call him). He immediately scheduled surgery in his office with local anesthetic. I showed up 30 min before the surgery, took 1/2 a valium and smiled through the 45-minute surgery. The good doctor played Beyonce and the nurses - and everyone there - was super nice, helpful and friendly. The first night post-surgery and the first day after were pretty achy and sore. The worst thing was the drain which seemed to poke into my back. But within 4 days, I felt fine - though irritatingly I am not meant to exercise or break a sweat. Yesterday, I got the stitches out and instructions not to swim til early February. But so far so good! Thank you, Dr. G.O.D.! I recommend him highly. Updated on 10 Apr 2020: I've always had a weakness for scars - for me, they are the ways that life marks us. I am so grateful for my time on the planet. Anyway, no huge lump and probably if I had stopped swimming laps in the sun in Santa Monica, I might have been scarless. I do find it sometimes gets a little itchy or tight, so I massage some Weleda Skin Food (amazing product) into the scar at night. But apart from that it has been painless and perfect. If you are considering getting a lipoma removed, I recommend doing it as soon as you can afford it and find a doctor you like.

Dr. Dick is one of the BEST PLASTIC SURGEONS AROUND!!!! I had 2 rhinoplasty, deviated septum in my NOSE, and he did a wonderful JOB ON IT AND IT LOOKS NATURAL!! He also did my breast augmentation AND THEY CAME OUT SPECTACULAR!! BUT, they need to be re-done ASAP because they have been in for almost 10 years!!!? His hands are magical and ANYONE who doesn't go to him is an IDIOT!!!!!!

Very pleasant and attentive. He made me feel safe thought out the process from begging to end. He sang for me before the anestesia which made me feel super comfortable. The nurse and Carolina are also super sweet.

Dr. Dick's work is fantastic. I had a facelift and I couldn't be happier. My face and neck look entirely natural but more healthy and of course, younger. I have a co-worker (who didn't know that I had a facelift) who said I looked wonderful and that I had a "glow" about me! She couldn't guess that I had the facelift but thought I looked fantastic, which is evidence of an awesome result. Dr. Dick was caring and professional and has to be the best cosmetic plastic surgeon in the Washington D.C. area. Dr. Dick works with Dr. Olsen who does laser skin care. I also had treatments for rosacea. Dr. Olsen was professional, knowledgeable and kind. You are in such good hands with everyone in Dr. Dick's office. They are all very professional and thoughtful. I really appreciated Ellie, Dr. Dick's nurse, Shelly, his receptionist; and Caroline his practice manager. They all made the entire process easy for me. I am so glad to have had Dr. Dick as my surgeon and am very happy with the result!

I would like to express my high admiration and deep gratitude to Dr. Dick for his outstanding work performed on my case. Most of all, I appreciate his friendliness towards his patients, patience in answering questions, and not scheduling future unnecessary appointments. I also would like to express my thanks to his staff, Caroline and Ellie, for their excellent help in making my operation easier.

Can't say enough about Dr. Dick and his staff. All are experienced and so personable. I don't know that i've been as nervous in my entire life, no worries, they make you feel at ease. The Dr.'s skill for what he does as a surgeon, artist, and concealment is incredible. So pleased with the on-going results (six weeks) as each day the healing continues and i witness the outward transformation. I look forward to my follow up in September.

I recently did my breast augmentation with Dr. Dick. I am still recovering, but so far, I am extremely happy with the results. I went from basically nothing to having beautiful and natural looking breasts that look perfect on my body. I did not want to do huge breasts, I wanted something big enough, but naturally looking, and that’s what we discussed with Dr. Dick. We tried several options, (he will give you to try different models and sizes during your 1st appointment), so you can see how it will actually look like after the surgery, and we chose the best option for me, that was 350cc silicon implants. He was amazing with understanding my needs and requests, and now my breasts have a right size, beautiful shape and a natural look! When I was choosing the doctor for my surgery and did my research, I read that he worked as Chief of Surgery at Shady Grove Hospital. For me, this was important, I know it is a good hospital and they choose their staff and especially their chief doctors very carefully. He is also a very nice person. He gave me his cell phone, I could call him with any questions, and during our appointments he always took time and addressed all my questions. I always have many questions, and many doctors don’t like that, Dr. Dick is different, he listened to me, understood me and I felt that he genuinely cared for me. The people who work for him are also very nice. I just love Caroline (office manager)! I could ask her anything, and Eli and Shelly are also very nice. I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Dick! I could not wish for a better doctor, surgeon and a person! Went to Dr Shirley Olsen after my friend went to see her a couple of years ago. She has done a few laser treatments on me and my skin is much brighter and tighter. Fewer dark spots and less dark under my eyes. It stings a little and some treatments I get numbed for and others I don't, but it's so worth it. She's a miracle worker. Love her!!

My recent visit to Dr. Shirley Olsen, which is Dr. Dick's wife, was beyond a 5-star review. The staff is the foundation and Dr. Olsen is the sound structure that leaves you with nothing but beautiful results along with warmth and angelic work. I cannot say enough about the several years that I have been a patient with Dr. Olsen. Fraxel really turns the hands of time back. She takes pride in the work she does and makes certain that "your" results are 100% satisfactory.
