Dr. Guilfoyle is the most Amazing Plastic Surgent Out There!!!!! I had done years of research for the best plastic surgent suited for my needs. However, for some reason, I couldn't find what I was looking for until I spoke with Tessa, Dr. Guilfoyle's assistant. Dr. Guilfoyle made it possible for me. He gave me a free consultation through a zoom meeting, and was very knowledgeable and professional. To add to my wonderful experience, his assistant Tessa was able to answer all my concerns and questions prior to surgery. Once he did the surgery, I felt like he transformed my body to my complete satisfaction. After having 8 kids, and losing 80 pounds, I had excessive skin and no matter what I did, I could not get rid of it. Dr. Guilfoyle did a fantastic job and I was able to see immediate results. I totally recommend him for his excellent work, fantastic price, and always taking the time to answers any questions or concerns that I had. My recovery has been quick, and painless.
Had a great experience with Dr. Guilfoyle. he's was straight to the point and great with answering all my questions i had with the procedure and after care. Easy and stress-free process. Would recommend to all my friends.
Dr Guilfoyle and his staff were so kind and so professional. He showed real compassion and concern for me and made me feel like I was heard. The results are wonderful so far and I’ve had very little pain during recovery. The operating room staff was also exceptional and the whole experience was very spa-like. I’m very thankful for Dr Guilfoyle and his staff.
Dr Gregg Guilfoyle is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. I cannot say enough good things about him, I felt comfortable from the first consultation. One of the hardest moment of my life was when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Working with Dr Guilfoyle made the double mastectomy and reconstruction process as pleasant as it can be. He is very knowledgeable and an expert in his area. He explained the procedures in great detail and he was happy to answer any questions I have. He was truly God sent and I am grateful to have him as my doctor.
So most of the time when people leave a review it’s always what they didn’t like. This and that they complain and stuff. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Guilfoyle his bedside manner was and is amazing he made me feel like he genuinely cared about me and my safety he explained everything pros cons and the procedures he was going to do he really exceeded my expectations!! His staff answered every question I had they were always available and when they weren’t they got back to me like I was the most important person to them. I am so glad I picked up the phone and set up my consultation!!! I’m 2 weeks post op and feel great not only does my body look better but my confidence is through the roof!! Trust the process it’s not the easiest thing I’ve been through but it’s also not the hardest!!!
Dr. Guilfoyle was awesome! He fully informed me of the elective surgery i wanted. I edded up having Dr. Guilfoyle do my mommy makeover and the results are phenomenal! He made himself available to me at any time to answer questions before and after the surgery. The surgery center was beautiful and his assistant/nurse, Tessa, was just the cherry on top. She was kind and caring and was there every step of the way, just like Dr. Guilfoyle. They made sure I had no worries before, during, and after surgery. I'm very lucky to have found Dr. Guilfoyle and Tessa!
I had 23 year old saline (under the muscle) breast implants. I had wanted them out for years, but couldn’t bring myself to pay for an explant and lift. When my right implant ruptured, I started looking for a plastic surgeon. I found Dr. G on real self, scheduled a consult and had the explant done within 2 weeks of my rupture. Dr. G did not try to talk me into replacing them or having a lift. I am in my 40s and didn’t care about being flat chested or a bit saggy. I went from a 34-D back to an A cup! I am very happy with my natural self and have no regrets at all. Dr G was reasonably priced and was correct about my recovery. I had no need for pain pills and I had zero complications. I kept my incisions dry for a week and took one week off from my daily 7 mile jogs. I walked 5.6 miles everyday after surgery and had no pain. I am very happy I went with Dr. G and I would recommend anyone looking for an explant. At 4 weeks post-op update: breasts fluffing up and looking much better. Not as saggy or flat. I am wearing a sports bra 24/7 and a bravity to bed for added support and stability. 10 weeks post-op update: breasts look full and normal again. I am so happy I didn’t get a lift and gave my body a chance to heal itself. Overall, I am very happy that I had this procedure and I would do it again.
Dr. Guilfoyle is not only a great surgeon, but a really awesome guy. I contemplated repairing my earlobes after having gauges for 15+ years. I’m so glad I went to him. He restored my confidence, and I’ve received so many compliments on the work he did. Many of my coworkers, family, and friends are now interested in seeking his services because his work is flawless. I would recommend Dr. Guilfoyle to any of my family or friends.
Dr. Guilfoyle did a great job listening to what I wanted. I received a breast augmentation. My breasts were very small and deflated. He was able to put the proper sized implant in and also lift my nipple up because of a certain method he uses. I wanted a very natural look and I got just that. He is awesome and very respectful to your wishes as to what you’re looking for in an augmentation. I would highly recommend.
Surgery is scheduled for noon! I’m so scared. I think because of all the stories people tell me and keep saying how much pain im going to be in. I probably need to stop watching videos and reading so much. I just want to be informed. Say a little prayer for me! Updated on 12 Sep 2020: Well.. I did it! I’m feeling just tired all the time. Taking Percocet for the pain. Also antibiotic and stool softener. The pain is bareable. I’m staying on top of the Percocet because I read you should to keep the pain manageable. Pain level now is maybe a 4–5. Not what I expected. Anyway.. this is the only picture I have so far. Updated on 13 Sep 2020: 5am the next day. Had my TT yesterday at noon. I was done by 1:30 and home by 4:15. Everyone at Coordinated Health was great! I woke up in a little pain (like 6). They gave me some pain meds before I left. Then Percocet for home. Pain is manageable. I’m just always sleepy. Drainage hasn’t been bad. I’ll keep you posted and take pics when able. Updated on 14 Sep 2020: I had my surgery Friday afternoon. I go to the Dr at 1pm today as a follow up. My back is really sore and sometimes a burning feeling in my stomach. However it still isn’t as bad as I imagined it would be. I’m emptying my drains about 3 times a day. Only about 10-15 ml ea (2 drains). I hope I get a glimpse of my belly today while at the doctor. Updated on 14 Sep 2020: Had my first follow up at the doctor today. My surgery was Friday. All he did was take off the binder. Checked the incision and told me to come back in a week to get the drains out. He said everything looks good so far. I still have not had a bm since Friday before surgery. He said I can shower. I’m happy about that. Hubby had to help me. It was hard but worth it. I’ll upload some pics. Lots of swelling still Updated on 16 Sep 2020: Day 6 and these drains are on my NERVES!! They are pulling. I make sure they have a little slack but it’s the stitch. Also.... have not gone #2 since day of surgery. My back hurts after standing for 10 minutes. Bright side... I slept in my bed last night. It was wonderful. Updated on 22 Sep 2020: I got my drains out yesterday! I’m glad about that!! I was nervous but when he did it... I felt nothing!! I took a wonderful shower this morning. Felt so good not having to worry about drains. I still can not stand all the way up straight. The longer I’m on my feet the more my lower back hurts. I slept on my side last night. Wasn’t too bad. I did stretch this morning when I woke up and that hurt a little. I feel like my incision looks good. The only thing I’m regretting is not getting lipo. To me... I look fat still on my sides. Will that go away? Should I have gotten lipo too? I look square. Now it is only day 11. Maybe I’m worrying too much. Anyway... here are some pics. (I’m moving, don’t mind the mess)
You look be an excellent candidate for standard traditional tummy Tuck. he will likely have an excellent cosmetic result!
It does appear to have some scar hypertrophy. This is on the spectrum of the keloid scar. Steroid injections may help especially with itching and to help flatten the scar, but you still may require a scar revision for cosmetic appearance.
I typically have my patients wear compression garment for approximately 4 weeks postoperatively. However, some patients find that they're garment helps for support during the day. However by 5 weeks, If you no longer wish to wear compression at night, there is no need
Yes you certainly a candidate for a tummy Tuck. However you do still have some intra-abdominal fullness which is likely not addressed with a tummy tuck. Ideally losing some weight preoperatively will help with your final cosmetic result.
I wouldn't worry too much about this. This can happen from time to time. Small openings can happen. This will allow some fluid draining out. The goal is to keep it as clean as possible with antibiotic ointment. Running water as well as soap should be fine. This will likely heal very well and likely will look just fine when healed. It may take a few weeks. If the incision should continue to open then further wound care would likely be needed. However, given your pictures and the small size of the openings ointment and a Band-Aid looks to be fine
