Sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done to give your veneers a more natural look at this point. Your best bet is to find a cosmetic dentist and have them redone. One thing that I recommend that you do is to make sure that at the time of "try in" of the veneers, that they numb (anesthetize) you in a way where your upper lip is not numb...only your teeth get numb. At the try in appointment they can place the veneers with try in paste so you can go in natural sunlight as well as artificial light to assess the color and shape of your new veneers with your normal smile (since your lip is not numb), before they are bonded onto your teeth. I always allow my patients to do this and then if there are any changes that they want I send them back to the lab for modification and let the patient wear temporary veneers again. Once the patient approves the changes, I have patients sign a consent allowing me to bond the veneers to the teeth. Once they are bonded, they cannot be removed easily and any changes at that point would require redoing them at a new cost. I hope this helps you make a decision.
