Gorkem Atsal, MD - Account Suspended

Had my revision done in June 2024. I am happy with my nose. Dr. Görkem and his team are very caring. Dr. Görkem not only fix my nose he also help my old surgery scar fade way. My side profile of my face is fantastic. His assistant is so kind and gorgeous. She let me use her phone charger during my whole stay because my adapter fell out on the plane. The taxi driver was helpful. He took me to the store to get water, juice and snacks for my room. Thank you Dr. GÖRKEM for fixing something I was concerned about. I can't wait to come to Turkey and visit you. I am recommending everyone to you.

Whilst chatting with my girlfriend she mentioned about Dr Gorkem, who had already performed rhinoplasty for an Indonesian celebrity, so I did some research and discovered about her visit to Istanbul and the work of Dr Gorkem.

I saw how Dr Gorkem interacted and handled her and the rest of his patients with warmth, kindness, and gentle professionalism.

I then communicated with his assistant on WhatsApp including video and quickly decided he was the right person to be my surgeon. I asked him to handle my case, which involved rhinoplasty to fix the lack of cartilage, droop, and crooked appearance off my nose and some fat grafting on parts of my face.

It is now one month since I had my surgery and from the side profile my nose looks naturally beautiful.
The front view still has some swelling and needs more time to see the proper result. By the way, my preference was for a Cindy nose look. The fat grafting was successful and still needs time to see the final results.

I highly recommend Dr Gorkem as an amazing doctor with great skill and personality.

I went to see Dr. Gorkem Atsal in Oct 2023. I have been to Columbia twice and this was my third time travelling for medical tourism. Turkey is very modern clean and safe. I felt completely safe at all times. Dr. Gorkem is by far the best Dr. I have used and I plan on seeing him in future. I met him and he is so warm, inviting and compassionate. I choose to do eye (top and bottom) and mid face lift as I’m 37 and I wanted to speak with him prior about a scar from my teens I had on my forehead that made me very insecure. Canadian Drs told me it’s not that bad , pretty much deal with it. When Dr. Gorkem Atsal listened to my insecurity and came up with a plan , I started crying because finally someone took it serious and had a solution.

The hospital was very clean and I have no negatives to say. The G hotel where patients stay is amazing. Room service to the door for when you are recovering. There’s also a breakfast every day 7-10 am which unfortunately I forgot about and a few days didn’t have an appetite. Everyone is is all bandaged up so I didn’t feel as awkward as if maybe I was the only one. With this review I really want to express how amazing the Dr. Is. He actually cares about you. His demeanour is so warm , caring and not that of a typical surgeon. I felt I was in good hands and trusted him just by the interaction before surgery. He checked on me multiple times himself after surgery. I can’t stress how comforting he is when I was alone in another country and about to do a surgery. As far as the outcome- it’s everything and more I could imagine. My face is tight - I look late 20s from late 30s. My scar on forehead he fixed it completely - it’s gone!!!! I used to wear side bangs but I’m so excited to just middle part hair and be free from that insecurity. If you’re deciding on wether or not to go - GO! It’s safe clean and you’re completely taken care of in every way. They covered everything! Pick Dr. Gorkem Atsal because as far as talent - he’s the best. He listened to what I want and delivered just that. He does not under or over do it. It’s perfection! The guy who did his nose the same day as me felt the same. Price is competitive to the others I was looking at. He’s not one of the crazy expensive ones. I found him to be in the same range of others - I chose him because his after photos and the videos of him - he’s a caring genuine welcoming human. I trusted my gut and this changed my life. I’m so happy I did because I no longer have the insecurities I did prior to going. I am so thankful to him and his team. They changed my life and how I see myself. I also have to say how since I’ve been home the million questions I’ve had along the healing process, they have gotten back to me so quickly and they’ve been so patient with all my questions I’m so grateful that I chose Dr. Görkem Atsal and his team. If you were thinking about going to Turkey I strongly recommend you go with Dr. Gorkem Atsal and his team you will be well taken care of any concerns you don’t need to worry because they take care of everything all you need to do is just show up and everything is taken care of. Amazing experience!! Thank you team! I am 23 and was travelling alone from Canada and I was so nervous to go abroad for my rhinoplasty. The staff reassured me from the start. They made sure I was taken care of from the beginning to the end. Even though my first flight got delayed, the driver came to get me very late and was amazing. Despite the language barrier, it was so easy to communicate with everyone at the hotel, hospital and airport. The day after the surgery, I stayed in the hospital for a night which really helped me. Being alone made me really nervous about everything but the week following at the hotel, their team was absolutely amazing and responded to all my messages and concerns really fast. Taking my cast off was an amazing experience and I am really happy with my nose despite still having my whole face and nose swollen from the procedure. They were all so kind and reassuring and also spoke my first language French which made me feel even more at home! I am so happy I chose Gorkem Atsal, he understood what I wanted for my nose right away and has an incredible team. Thank you all!

I had surgery on my face. Rhinoplasty and midface lift. The doctor is professional and competent. Always listens to the opinion and wants only the best. The operation was successful. The results exceeded all expectations. I personally recommend it.
