Dr. Grandhige is down to earth and very easy to communicate with. He exemplifies what real bedside manner is, especially in today's healthcare industry, where it is far too often absent in the practice of medicine. The staff are all very hospitable and are versed at what they do and are highly knowledgeable about the industry and standards. They were responsive from the beginning and followed up appropriately, always with the warmest touch. A choice to be treated by Dr. Grandhige and his team would be an extremely wise decision. You will be in great hands, (pun definitely intended). I highly recommend Dr. Grandhige and his team without any reservation whatsoever.
Could not speak more highly of Dr. Grandhige and his team. They operate with the utmost professionalism and are were incredibly patient with the plethora of questions I had both pre and post operation. Their genuine compassion shines through in every interaction. I could not be happier with the results I have seen, and would encourage anyone considering booking with Formation to do so.
The differences in post-operative diets after vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) can stem from various factors, including surgical technique, patient needs, and the surgeon's experience and philosophy. Some surgeons may adopt a more conservative approach, emphasizing clear liquids for a longer period to ensure healing and minimize complications, while others might allow purĂŠed foods earlier for patient comfort and nutrition. Medical reasoning for these diets often centers around promoting healing, preventing complications such as leaks or strictures, and ensuring the stomach adapts properly to its new size. Eating purĂŠed food sooner than advised could potentially strain the healing stomach, leading to complications. It's essential to follow your surgeon's guidelines and discuss any concerns with them, as they are tailored to your specific situation. If you're struggling, consider reaching out for support to help navigate your recovery journey.
As you stated, there is surgical excision which is the gold standard for skin laxity tummy tuck and you would have amazing results because you area laready very lean, and some muscle repair would return your waist line and you would be long, lean and narrow waisted but... The best treatment for skin laxity that is not surgical is Renuvion for a couple reasons. It has the most effective and durable results and it is a singular treatment. There are many treatments such as Morpheus, US, cryo, etc that are all intended at creating some form of inflammation that can lead to new collagen formation. Renuvion is the most effective at neocollagenesis because of the amount of energy that you can deliver by doing it fron underneath the skin. Renuvion also tightens the fibroseptal network which none of the topical treatments can. In this way, there are two waves of results, the first is the tightening due to the fibroseptal network and then the second wave is due to the new collagen which shrink wraps everything. Important to know that the full effect of Renuvion takes 1 year. In someone like you, this would be done in the office with oral sedation which would decrease cost significantly. We would be happy to discuss how we make it easy for patients to fly in and have a mini-vacation with us in Tampa if you would like to come and visit. You would only need to stay in town for a day or two, and wear a garment for 2-3 weeks. You could start working out again in 2 weeks. Other than the garment, it would not be apparent to those around you.
Cardio will not be able to tighten your skin. Morpheus may help. Most patients see a difference 6 weeks after their second treatment and then the third session locks it into a place for a year. You are young and have no fat deposits. There are many forms of collagen deficiencies that cause your issue, some of them are under the name Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and it would be important to find out if you have any genetic explanation. This would help you know how effective collagen building treatments will be in your instance. The next step after Morpheus x 3 sessions would be Renuvion to your neck. This is a 30 minute office procedure with minimal recovery.
I am sorry that you have not seen the results you want thus far, but single treatments of non-invasive therapies like Morpheus and threads are unlikely to show much difference. This is why the price ads up and I support your decision to move forward with J Plasma. J Plasma is the most effective non-surgical skin therapy. Morpheus and J Plasma can be performed at the same time. They address different aspects. Morpheus addresses the dermis by creating inflammation in that layer. J Plasma primarily affects the fibroseptal network but also the underside of the dermis. Therefore, there is no waiting period needed between these two therapies. The heat from J-Plasma will cause the PDO threads to prematurely dissolve, but there again is also no time specifically needed between the procedures. We perform the J-plasma for arms "awake" and in the office. Let us know if you would like to make a visit to Tampa !
Renuvion is the best NON-SURGICAL skin tightening procedure. Surgery can address all skin laxity. So if you are planning on getting an abdominoplasty, all skin laxity should be addressed at the time of the procedure. I always recommend that whatever skin needs to be removed and whatever muscles need to be repaired should be done instead of trying to do something with a "smaller incision" just because you may be scared of the incision. The amount of skin tightening that occurs with Renuvion is unpredictable as its result is related to age, genetics, skin quality, etc. (even though I think it is an amazing product and use it with all my high definition liposuction cases).
