Dr Thomas is a very skilled surgeon. She is very professional and very kind. I am so happy with my results. I had a face-lift, brow lift and tummy tuck. It's so nice to have a waist now. Everything went very smoothly with great results. My whole experience from consult, surgery and through recovery was very good. The staff were professional and pleasant. I hope to have another surgery and will definitely have Dr Thomas perform it. Highly recommend Dr Thomas.
Dr. Gloria and all the staff are such a pleasure to have work with. I am just about three weeks postop so far I’ve had an amazing experience. Pain levels have been low. Healing has been great and her services are awesome and an awesome price.
Dr Thomas is excellent. She listens and gives you realistic expectations. I love that they follow up for so long after a procedure, that way you can voice any concerns you might have as they arise. Not far enough out to see final results but so far so good!
Dr. Thomas has magic hands! I have had nothing but a great experience at this facility. Christopher, the manager, is a little awkward but luckily I only seen him at the initial appointment. This facility is really clean and I love all the ladies. Added bonus, there are a few employees who had their TT done by Dr Thomas. I had breast life, saline implants, lipo, and a panniculectomy (no Muscle repair). She doesn't believe in 360 lipo during the surgery and would rather after a year to give a better idea of you want it. I cried at my 2 week appointment bc how amazed my body looked (Even with the stitches). One thing to note is Dr Thomas is strict and old fashion. She doesn't believe in lymphatic massages, nor does she let you see your results until 2 weeks post. However she was the only surgeon who thought I had enough skin to pull down to my bikini line. Other surgeons suggested a Tincision or mini TT. Her pricing was very attractive compared to some other surgeons I met with! Loving my results and will be back to post a 4 week review! Updated on 14 Apr 2023: Been one year and have some concerns. Asked for a revision on my belly button and an additional lift. Dr. Thomas said I still am still healing and to make an appointment in 6 months. The other reviews have me slightly worried that I won’t be able to get this fixed and I will have to go somewhere else, but I’ll check in when it comes to that time. Dr. Thomas did spend extra time with me explaining her thoughts and went well over her time which I appreciated.
Been 2 weeks since my full tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift and saline implants! The first 48 hours was the worst pain ever, nothing compared to a c-section. Make sure you have someone that is patient and willing to empty your drains and change depends to help you. At 1 week post-op check-up, got drains removed and a new brace. Incision is healing nicely which has caused major itching. Breast implants feel like milk lactation 24/7. Praying that the Dr. oks a shower after 2 week check-up. Still sleeping in the recliner which is not comfortable. Use pillows under your knees and feet. Overall I am so happy with what I have seen, more uncomfortable than being in pain. Never realized how much I use my abs until I had this procedure. Make sure that you have the following supplies: Depends, bedliners, portable bidet, pillows, Tylenol, recliner(electric if possible), laxative (take in the am), chloraseptic (hurts to cough 1st week), and Gingerale for gas. Updated on 2 Apr 2022: My stitches are shocking and brought me to tears. I am able to take a shower which is how I was able to see everything. Was too shocked to take pics, will try next time. Got a full body brace, is better for sleeping; however cannot wear underwear which is unnerving and cannot reach areas to scratch as easily. No pain really just a matter of being uncomfortable. Updated on 2 Apr 2022: These are the pics that brought me to tears the first time I saw them. Praying that it gets better, plan on using Silagen once approved by doctor. Also, what to try the lymphatic massage, will probably wait until four week check-up. Side view is perfect.
I decided on getting my BBL and Lipo on my back and flanks with Dr. Thomas. I am 1 week post op tomorrow 11/16/21 in which I am also scheduled to go in for post op treatment. I have not experienced any pain during this entire process. So far so good pics coming soon
I'll update everything soon. Taking before pics tonight, I'll post after this weekend. So nervous right now. Dr. Gloria Thomas is the by far the nicest, most "real" surgeon I've ever met with. I'm paying more that I'd hoped, but I have zero doubts about her at least. Updated on 31 Aug 2020: I had trouble finding a doc i liked in Orlando. I heard some nice things about Dr. Gloria Thomas and decided to meet her. I thought she was a total badass. I booked it for the same month because I wanted to take advantage of work from home during covid. I'm swollen, but I can totally see some hotter shape taking place. It's only been 3 days and I'm covered in adhesive, so post pics soon. It's not terribly painful, but don't be expecting "me time".
Fierce mother of 28 year old, 5 year old and 18 month old boys. I had always been in great shape and appeared younger than my stated age, until this last baby. With my worsening diastasis recti and umbilical hernia, something cosmetic had to be done. Dr. Gloria Thomas was God sent! She is a very conscientious surgeon and her work is impecable. She is so real and she just gets it; doesn't hurt that she is also easy to talk to...Her bedside manner is indescribable and non-judgemental. Her staff members are always friendly; both she and he staff always entertain all "silly/ stupid questions." I am glad to have selected her to perform my procedure.
I’ve been on this journey since 2008, I had my first child in 2006 and never got my pre-pregnancy body back. 2011 I had my second son and was overweight 53 pounds when I gave birth to him. I worked out four times a week cardio and weight training, I lost the weight but my stomach was still so fat. I looked for doctors in Tampa went to several consultations no one really made me feel completely comfortable. I was referred to Dr. Thomas by my sister and boy was it the best referral. I had a surgery scheduled May8th at Jolie plastic surgery in MIA they never made me really nervous after a patient died after a procedure at their facility. I called Dr.Thomas office asked for price for the procedures I was having after sending my pictures I was told it would be 11000!plus. I was not prepared to pay anything over what Jolie had quoted me but after speaking with Dr. Thomas I knew I had a huge decision to make. I couldn’t sleep thinking the price was to much more than I could ever pay. Then I thought my life is priceless. I called the office the next day and scheduled my pre op Thursday evening . Monday May 13 I walked in the office at 11:30 am was walked back to a room by on of the young ladies from the office. I changed into a gown Dr. Thomas came in marked me up and then introduced me to the anesthesiologist that was a very nice lady. She asked me several questions about myself and told me her work history (I was so scared to be put to sleep) after she left the room I prayed and was very confident that I had made the right decision, about 5 minutes later a young lady came and walked me to a different room which was freezing cold. I was told everything was going to be fine again and again. I laid down and just remember waking up wondering why they couldn’t perform my surgery around 6pm. I pulled the gown up and seen myself wrapped in bandages. I was in absolutely NO PAIN. I was transported to a local hotel by my sister where I stayed that night to recover. I was up walking around the same night. Dr. Thomas called to check on me around 9pm. I was fine she told me to walk around a little while then rest. The next day I went for my follow up and I had to thank her and her office staff for treating me with such great care. Every week since May I’ve had a follow up and she’s welcomed me back just as she did the first day I meet with her. Her staff is amazing Marthe her assistant is very professional and knowledgeable she will answer any question you have. I’m saving now for a BBL which she tells me I don’t need lol. My advice to everyone is do not cheat yourself. I’m so happy with my results and my decision to go with Dr. Thomas.
30yo female, no children, 155-158lb, 5'6, 20% body fat, relatively athletic and active, stubborn belly fat. I strength train 5 days a week, manage my diet, drinks tons of water, etc etc. very comfortable with building muscles in my extremities but never could get lean enough to shed the belly fat. enter what was advertised as "liquid lipo" (smart/weekend lipo). I wanted an invasive and permanent solution with minimal down time as I train for specific goals (strength and/or conditioning benchmarks, competition prep, etc) and didn't want to fall behind on that progress by taking a month or so off. Liquid lipo sold me in that it as described at "predictable procedure" with minimal downtime. I could allegedly be back to work in a few days and back in the gym within 2 weeks. I put down my deposit in December 2018, scheduled surgery for 3/20/19. I discovered New Image on a whim on groupon, then went in for a consult, Chris sold me in addressing my chief concerns about downtime and recovery, the price was reasonable and he was very straightforward. I didn't feel like I was being pressured AT ALL. not going to lie, I was also comforted by the fact that Dr. Thomas was a brown lady. I just felt like she understood my skin and specific concerns, I also felt like she would be more conservative in her methods. After more research I was sold in that she specializes in stomach tightening procedures. I looked her up on the FL dept of health licensing site, her license was current, she had no pending or past lawsuits or ethical violations. sold. I am currently 3 days post op. feeling better and better. She indicated she was able to remove about 500cc of fat from my upper and lower abs (that's about 1.05lb). things I was not prepared for, being intubated during surgery (my throat was raw immediately after surgery and the pain/discomfort persisted until just this morning) and the drainage into my pubic area (I basically have a temporary scrotum lol). I know it will all resolve naturally over time but its significant/worth mentioning. Updated on 23 Mar 2019: Highlights from the last couple of days, still stiff and sore. Can't bend over very well but was totally up and moving hours after surgery. I do have a garment on now and compression stockings which I have to wear 24/7 until my next appt on Monday 3/25 Underneath the garment there is special medical padding that's effectively stuck onto my skin, I couldn't peek if I wanted to, it's really attached. I have not seen my stomach at all after going under. I feel super bloated and stiff, which in some ways is good. I imagine the intra abdominal pressure is helping my skin re-adhere to my abdominal wall better. ??????????? Things I wasnt expecting: 1. being intubated during surgery (woke up with a raw sore throat that had persisted until today. Really deep down my throat, bad) 2. Fluid draining to my mons pubis. My whole front lady bits are crazy engorged and bruised. I jokingly refer to it as my "temp scrot" Super grateful for my friends and my sheewiz. Back to work on Sunday
There are several types of radio frequency for skin tightening in the market place that may address your concerns. We have had some good success with Nu rea Tight. You may want to do some research on Radio Frequency.
There are a few non surgical options available in the market place that may address your concerns. We have had good success with a radio frequency machine called the Nu Era tight.
In situation like this it is imperative you have this conversation with the doctor who preformed you surgery. He or she is the one you has been providing you with the post operative care. It seems as you are wearing the correct bra but discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
Placing implants in front of or behind the muscle in a Breast Augmentation is a decision you make with the surgeon you choose to do your surgery. It is not a simple answer and is based on several factors that can be discussed at your consultation, such as body type, implant choice and the desired look you want to achieve with your breast. Best Regards
The best answerer is to make good choices with your food intake, have a healthy diet, stay hydrated, and make sure you do not gain any additional weight. Best regards
