As an MtF transgender woman, I've taken the time to scout and research various surgeons for the procedures I'm interested in. I ultimately chose Giuseppe Di Taranto for my breast augmentation because of his excellent work with other transgender individuals. Since I have a wider chest, it was important for me to find a surgeon with experience in this area. I scheduled my consultation for February 3rd, and I was able to plan my procedure within the week. The consultation was quick yet informative—I didn't feel rushed at all, and I appreciated how attentive he was to my wants for my chest, which he was able to tastefully accommodate with an appropriate size choice (350cc, Moderate+). I've found the communication with him to be concise and timely, which is a refreshing change compared to other surgeons I've spoken with. Plus, I couldn't help but notice, as another reviewer noted, that he personally writes his emails and seems to have a small team. It really adds a nice personal touch! I'll keep this review updated as I can.
I first contacted Giuseppe in March 2024 via Instagram. I am a MTF trans woman and I was looking for a trans-specialising surgeon in the UK. I saw that Giuseppe does breast augmentation for all women, including cis and trans, and also does FTM top surgery too. I booked an in-person consultation with Giuseppe at The Cadogan Clinic in Knightsbridge, London. That was on Friday 26th April. At the time of writing, it is Sunday 28th April and my BA is booked for Monday 20th May. I cannot stress enough how lovely Giuseppe has been so far. My emails have all been answered in full detail, same-day by Giuseppe himself (which I know cannot be expected of a busy surgeon, but was hugely appreciated nonetheless!). The consultation was thorough, not at all rushed and I felt like I could ask all of the questions I had. He is a truly lovely person, and I can't wait to update this thread after my surgery to share the results!!!! Updated on 21 May 2024: The day finally arrived yesterday (20th May) and I could not have had a better experience. I was first of all greeted by friendly receptionists at The Cadogan Clinic, where the surgery was performed, followed by a lovely nurse named Katie who took me to my pre-op private waiting room and took my blood pressure, etc. Shortly after, I was greeted by the lovely anaesthetist followed by Giuseppe and his assistant (whom I embarrassed myself in front of with my sub-par conversational Italian!). Giuseppe took pre-op photos and did his drawings on my skin and before I knew it I was led by an ODP into the theatre. Giuseppe asked me what music I would like on (Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter... duh!), and the lovely anaesthetist chatted to me while he inserted the cannula and before I knew it I was in the post-op recovery room! I have thus far only had a glance at my new boobies when my surgical bra was being put on me, but I can already see they are a great fit for my frame and I cannot wait until I get to see them properly. My 1 week post-op appointment is scheduled for Tuesday 28th May (one day later as Monday is a bank holiday) so I will update further then. So far, I have had nothing short of an absolutely amazing experience with Giuseppe Di Taranto and his team. Grazie Mille!!! Updated on 30 May 2024: These are some pics from my 1 week post op appointment with a nurse at the Cadogan Clinic. This was 2 days ago on 28th May 2024. The nurse was so sweet and she said my incisions were healing very well and already beginning to scar which shows they have healed fast too! She told me that I no longer needed to wear the compression band/strap on the top of my compression bra through the night, but to keep wearing it during the day for another week. I was also cleared to have a full-body shower on this day... it felt amazing! Lol. So super happy with the results already. Can't wait to see them 'drop and fluff' as the weeks go by!!! :) Updated on 4 Jun 2024: I can't believe it has been 2 weeks already! I am absolutely loving the results. I am finally able to stop wearing the compression strap, and I was also able to remove the waterproof bandage the nurse put over my incisions at my 1 week post-op. My incisions are healing so well. They literally look like 2 tiny lines, which just goes to show how good of a surgeon Giuseppe is! I was able to put some fake tan on (obviously avoiding my incisions) which made me feel more human lol. Also tried on a dress without the compression bra for a brief moment and OMG they look so good. Best thing I ever did! Updated on 4 Jun 2024: I forgot to attach this photo. As you can see they are still sitting high but starting to drop and soften! See my below update for a proper update on 2 weeks post-op and more pictures. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
