I am always confident that my experience at RSVP will reflect their professional and caring standards. The IPL treatments have reduced the discolouration on my face and refined my skins texture. It's been pretty great to see the improvement.
Hello, first of all I think 40 units per side is a very generous amount, however I don't know the extent of your original problem ( teeth grinding, dental fractures). Botox is fully reversible in 3 or 4 months, so my advice is to wait till the effect is over, because if you correct with fillers, your lips will be really uneven once the Botox is gone. On another note, sometimes we don't notice our natural asymmetries and imperfections until we have a procedure done. Possibly one side of your face was initially different than the other but you never noticed.
Good question: many patients love Botox in the chin, as it will soften the "orange peel " look that happens when you contract the mentalis muscle (the chin muscle). However, after injecting for a few years I noticed that some patients that normally move the lower lip a lot when they talk do not get a very desirable result with that technique, and their speech changes a bit. It is worth trying, as Botox is fully reversible and you will go back to your baseline in 3 to 4 months, if you decide it is not for you.
Hello, good question! This is a common complaint and it is what makes us look old:) However, by the picture I think you are too young for a facelift. There are other less invasive ways to achieve a younger looking lower face. There are techniques with dermal fillers that work on your facial structure, lifting the saggy skin in a very natural way, no downtime and minimal risk. Some physicians know how to do it in a way that your face will look very natural and the results are spectacular. The price is also much more affordable than a facelift. Other methods of skin-tightening will also help ( rdiofrequency with PROTEGE ELITE for example), but the results with fillers will be immediate and dramatic.
Hello, there is no evidence that the position will alter the effect of Botox. As for your headache, it is not uncommon that patients have a headache after Botox injection or even a few days later, as the muscles start to relax and you keep trying to contract them, voluntarily or involuntarily. It is self-limited, but you can just take regular over the counter analgesics for that.
Hello, thank you for your question. Coolsculpting’s results depend on the person performing the treatment in you. Vanquish doesn’t, as long as the professional has basic training on the machine. Vanquish will cause fat cell apoptosis ( it will destroy the fat cells) evenly across the area covered by the applicator. Studies comparing both treatments showed better patient satisfaction with Vanquish. It will not cause any pain (acute or chronic) as possible with Coolsculpting.
