I had no surgeon and a breast that could necrose

Ginger Slack did a very routine symmetry procedure after breast cancer was removed. Part of my breast turned purple and she said I could lose that whole area, if not the whole breast. Mind you, this is my non cancer breast. She was very casual about this...its not a normal complication. I am young and healthy. She said she purposely made the breasts asymmetrical without getting my consent for the is because she thought I was getting radiation. I'm not, radiation was not recommended, so now a revision has to be done. She then canceled my follow up appts and ghosted after she sent an email saying she was proud of her work...after telling me I might lose a breast. So a couple days after surgery, I had no surgeon and a breast that could necrose. She didn't close the incision fully so it is scared down in the open position. The scars go from one armpit to another. I have little sensation anymore. It's not pretty, I try not to look at my chest. I had more complications and the ER wouldn't see me because I had no surgeon to follow up with surgical interventions. No doctor will follow you once your surgeon abandons care after complications. She was not ethical, professional, or safe. There are great surgeons that do amazing work out there. Please know the gravity of your surgeon choice and choose wisely!
