Yes it could. First it is necessary to have a consultation to asses your particular situation and expectations.  

ThermiVa safely transfers heat via radiofrequency to affected tissues, in this case being the external and internal vaginal tissues. It does no damage to the skin as the heat is directed to deeper tissue layer. Radiofrequency treatments have long been used for muscle and tissue healing by promoting new collagen production which leads to softer, tighter tissues.


ThermiVa will treat:

1. Vaginal Looseness: treatments may tighten the vaginal canal if needed. For mild prolapse, this may be an option to a surgical procedure.
2. Labia Looseness: treatments may tighten the labia majora if loose and saggy. This will give a more youthful appearance to the external vagina.
3. Vaginal Dryness and pain: treatments may promote internal and external vaginal moisture. This is especially useful in postmenopausal patients who do not want to or cannot use estrogen replacement.
4. Mild Incontinence:treatments may lessen urine leakage and the urge to go symptoms.
5. Problems with Sexual Sensation: treatments may increase sensitivity, cause stronger vaginal contractions, and quicker orgasms.

Every one is different and will respond in varying ways to ThermiVa treatments. However, standard protocol is 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. Depending on the results you want and how your body responds the treatments, you can expect to have a "touch-up" treatment about a year after you complete your first three. Some people need a "touch-up" a little before a year and some people go much longer than a year. It just depends on your body and your expectations. 

Standard protocol recommends 3 treatments each done 4 to 6 weeks apart. We do not recommend waiting past 6 weeks, but up until that point is okay.

Every body is different, likewise everybody who receives the ThermiVa treatment will experience slightly different results. Most people see results after the first treatment. The second treatment yields even more results, and the third treatment even more. With each treatment, you are getting more results and lengthening the amount of time those results will last for you. Although some people are satisfied, the recommended protocol for the best, most long-lasting results is three treatments. 

The standard protocol calls for at least 3 treatments to see best results, and after 3 treatments you can expect your results to last up to a year. Each person is different and some may need a 4th treatment and some results may last considerably longer than a year, or even just short of a year.  I would not recommend to have just one treatment because results are not likely to be what you are wanting and they will not last as long.
