Explant due to severe ruptured implants and capsular contracture also implants causing breast implant illness - had total capsulectomy rn bloc removal and 12 months later my inflammation pain and autoimmune symptoms are gone! Gillian did an incredible job v talented surgeon. Updated on 5 Nov 2018: I am around two years post explant and am very happy with my natural explanted breasts my surgeon did an amazing job. Can hardly see any scars and they have healed beautifully! I was a 34a before implants then 34dd with implants and now 17 years later a 34b natural (I also bf one child). I hope this post is encouraging for other women especially women that are sick from their implants and scared of what the aesthetic outcome will be. (I was terrified initially after one surgeon told me I must replace as I would hate the results) well of course now I know that was a total lie they look the same as they did post implant surgery.. well actually better as I am at least one cup size bigger (obvious grew with age I was only 18 when I got implants).. Updated on 5 Nov 2018: Almost 2 years since I explanted and I only wish I had done it sooner! ALL of my neck, back and shoulder pain is GONE as well as inflammation and lots of other autoimmune conditions. Aesthetically I could not be happier! They look better than with the implants, feel lovely and soft and given I have aged 17 years since implanting natural they have grown 1-2 cup sizes.. Updated on 29 Jan 2020: Hi ladies thought I’d do a quick update as it’s been a while! Explant results are better than I could ever have dreamed my breasts have fluffed out and are pert despite having had those things in for around 16 years and one baby... all my explant symptoms are gone but sadly I never explanted in time to save my kidneys as we never made the connection in time so I’m still on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant xxxx Updated on 29 Jan 2020: 3 year updated continued.. pre implants aged 18 was 34a with implants 34d then after baby about 34dd after explant first year 34b now after 3 years only about 2 kilo weight gain proper nutrition and massage and cupping my breast tissue has fluffed out to a 34C
