I had breast implant surgery done on July 10th 2013 with 240 cc saline submuscular and under the armpit placement. I had been a 34 A prior. I am 59 yrs old. This was post a facelift in May 2013 and Lipo in 9 2012. All done by the same md. The breasts came out in July being not symetrical due to the fact that originally when my breasts were small the pocket was "deformed" from my youth but no one knew this at the time, least of all me. So my md agreed to redo them at no charge, with silicone and placement scar under the breast. I waited 6 months as per his orders and I am glad I did. We also agreed that since there was such a wide middle between breasts that fat grafting would assist in making it less so. As my md wrote the book literally on liposuction and is considered a world expert he is very good at fat extraction and then the grafting. it has been 3 weeks and so far things look very good. I went up to 300 ( I had wanted to go larger but was constrained by this pocket "deformity" during the second surgery. the scars are placed on one breast underneath where no one can see it and on the other one partially on my breast due to this issue. In time it will heal and not be a problem . I know that it takes time for all of this to settle even up to 6 months. The surgery was long 8 hours due to the time it takes to harvest the fat and steralize it several times and inject it. I of course felt nothing. i had to stay overnight in a hotel with a nurse and my husband which was great as this also took place in the middle of a major snowstorm. The recovery has been good, and I am no longer sore just from time to time on the donor sites from the lipo. We will see what happens down the road but as of now again am very happy I had them redone. When I can upload pictures I will. Updated on 8 Mar 2014: Could not be happier! Love the feel easy recovery and back a gym working out! Updated on 30 May 2014: Things are getting better. Dropping into place nicely. I know from experience that it takes 6 months to settle in. Still difficult doing "dips " and pull ups with my trainer. Would love to be a bit larger and closer but it is what it is. 50 percent of fat transfer lasted according to my p s with follow up 2 days ago. Updated on 24 Jan 2015: I went to Chris Chia in November 2014 and he just moved my nipples to a more central position and I am totally thrilled beyond belief. Chia was referred by my retiring ps. He was great and I am finally totally happy!!!!

Just had it done on day 3 it is indeed major surgery so no getting around it. Exhausted sleeping a lot spent 2 days w private nurse in hotel next to surgical site, had upper eyes facelift Tca peel was to have lower eyes done but too much swelling and Boold pressure spiked so they stopped, I will have them done later. Not much bruising md says I looked great. Just washed hair. Getting sutures out sun am. More later! Updated on 19 May 2013: Today had them out along with staples 5 days out. Not bad at all. Still tight in neck but that is to be expected with neck lift. My md does not believe in arnica nor bromide. Some swelling and bruising but mostly yellow and on neck . Just still tired from trip to city and home . Will get under eyes done when healed more due to blood pressure issue during surgery. Tried to add photo or short video but cannot figure out how to do it? It is on my eye pad any ideas? Updated on 20 May 2013: Feeling much better today will be day 7 still feel tight and tired but all sutures and staples out had a short scar surgery as it turned out. Will need to do lower eyelids later. Worked all day at home on couch on laptop. No pain just tired. I know week 2 is the killer week so I am praying that the yellow bruising goes away prior to work. Have a nasty mark under my chin which will be treated with sulfa cream. My husband is the most amazing person he keeps assuring me that I will look eventually terrific. Daughter still not talking to me. having this website has been so helpful to me and hope that finance girl and level are doing well?still trying to post photo but will try and follow instructions. Lfa Updated on 11 Jul 2013: Still have not much feeling on my cheeks and still tight around neck which is noticeable most of the time. I also just had my lower eyes done yesterday as they could not be done during the first surgery. Other than that I feel good am back to working out ( now out again for 3 weeks due to eyes) and just had a facial as my skin looked dull. She was gentle and it was a great improvement. Also had Botox a week ago on forehead where there was no lift. Overall I am very happy with the exception of the neck squeezed feeling. I still have one very light bruise on one cheek (stubborn!) but hardly noticeable. I know now that it takes about a year to notice all but happy at 7 weeks. Updated on 14 May 2014: Yes it has been one year . So here is my update my neck is still tight and feels at times that I have a mask on. I am very happy with the results but it does take a year.my neck will be tight for a long time. It is major surgery for sure But really worth it Updated on 14 Aug 2014: Had surgery to repair upper eyes and fat transfer one week ago. Used a different MD as my ps retired Glenn Jelks is terrific. It will take 3 months to see final results.
