As a teenager I struggled with acne, all intestinal issues - leeky gut kind of thing that would cause flare ups on my cheeks. Now that my acne has gone away I'm so insecure to leave the house without foundation. I'm not talking light foundation or a CC cream; I'm talking Este Lauder Double Wear or Kat Von D Lock it Foundation. Not only was that clogging my pores, but it would be so time consuming! It was time for me to find a way to fix my skin! I started at Dr. K's Med Spa in Largo doing Botox, and through coming there I found out about Fraxel. I of course had so many questions! Questions like "does it hurt" "does it really work" so on so fourth. Dr. K's staff made sure that all my questions were answered, they educated me on how the procedure would work, how much down time I would have, what products to put on it and so fourth. Still nervous, I did my own research, and finally I did it! I made an appointment that would hopefully change my life. Days before my nerves were racing, I'm a wimp with pain! Not to mention I ran into a lady who scared me even more saying that it's excruciating pain (she had just got it done). I almost backed out, but then I ran into another lady who told me that it's not pleasant but you have to think of the results! Needless to say I kept the appointment. Day of appointment: My appointment was two hours long, and I was with the laser tech and her name was Cassie. She made my time go so much faster and easier, she calmed my nerves by half! First thing was numbing. She put "BLT cream" on my face and I sat for about 35-45 minutes. My face was pretty numb! Now time for the laser, eeeek so nervous. She gave me a small smiley face ball that I could squeeze when it hurt, which was nice - because I sure did use it. It was NOT as bad as I expected! If anyone has had laser hair removal, it feels like that. Of course it would have hurt more if I had not did any kind of numbing. It was so bareable! And remember, beauty is pain! She did about 6 passes on me. Right after the treatment she put some TNS cerimide from skin medica, Epidermal repair from Skin Ceuticals, and sunscreen from skin ceuticals on me. I was advised that it would feel like a really bad sunburn. She said to keep it moisturized and if I began to feel "tight" to apply more product. So I purchased all three products and they feel really good on my face. I used ice packs to ease the stinging sensation. The sensation lasted me maybe two hours after the treatment, after that I was just a little pink. The morning after my face is puffy, which is expected, but no pain, no peeling, no tightness! I never wear makeup to work, but I had to go to work bare faced and I received compliments on my face already! Which is exciting. I plan to do 3 more Fraxel treatments. Then I will move onto IPL and Microneedling. I will keep updating with pictures and progress! I do apologize for the pictures not being upright.
I had my consultation with Tina at Dr. K’s Med Spa. She was very informative and had real client photos and a package fit for me. She recommended I did my research and ask any questions before making my decision and that just made me want the treatment more. I purchased the treat to complete which included upper abdomen, lower abdomen and flanks 2 times in each area. I had my first series of treatments and will have them repeated in six weeks. It was tolerable and no down time.
My experience at Dr. K’s Med Spa was very delightful! Tina made me feel relaxed as my treatment was going on. The results are absolutely amazing! I can’t wait for my next treatment with her. The treatment alone didn’t take long at all and was painless! I was in and out of the Med Spa within 35 minutes!
I had my SculpSure treatment done at Dr. K’s Medical Spa, in Largo, by Tina. At first I was really nervous and unsure of what was going to happen and how the procedure would work. But Tina and the rest of the staff put my mind at ease. The procedure took from beginning to end 40 minutes (including a weigh in, pictures from all angles, strap into the machine). Tina explained that I may get nodules after the treatment from the fat clumping together before my body would get rid of them, and I did get nodules. Literally, the next day I could feel them which was exciting! I did one area I believe which was my abdomin two top, two bottom. Next I think I’ll do my love handles!
My experience with the sculpsure at Dr. Ks Med spa was wonderful, tina was very knowledgeable and me made me feel extremely comfortable. I purchased the body type one total core package and I am eight weeks out from my first treatment and am seeing great results so far, can’t wait for my second treatment!
SculpSure and Liposoinx are great non invasive treatments for unwanted fat. I have both technologies in my office and have had great results with both. With that said based on your concerns with down time and evidence of treatment, my suggestion would be to go with SculpSure.SculpSure you will have tenderness, swelling and possible nodules in the area of treatment. The nodules are usually felt not seen and results can be seen around 6-12 weeks.Liposonix you will have tenderness, bruising, swelling and results can be seen around 6-12 weeks. Results of both are permanent as long as you maintain and don't gain weight.
It is recommended to wait the full 6-8 weeks if you are having the treatment done in the same area, but if you are having the treatment done in a completely different area then you can have the treatment done when you like.
Currently Sculpsure can not be used to treat chin fat. Check out kybella, an injection that destroys chin fat.
With the SculpSure procedure having lumps post treatment is normal. Keep active, drink lots of water, massage the area and the lumps will go away over time.
SculpSure is only FDA approved for abdomen and flanks, but with that said the answer is yes you can treat inner and outer thighs it is just considered of label use. We have had good results with both.
