"Incredible"..."You look at least 10 yrs younger!" Comments I regularly heard after I had my croton oil peel. I was inspired to get the peel after a couple people I knew had it done and had impressive results. I was given detailed information as to what to expect day by day after the peel - there were no surprises. My results were dramatic - no exaggeration. Gone were the lines around the mouth - no more lipstick bleed! Pores refined, crows-feet gone, skin looked fresh - the results exceeded my expectations. It looked like I'd had a facelift, blepharoplasty and dermabrasion all in one! My face was "flushed" like a sunburn - but the staff showed me which makeup to use to conceal the redness until it completely faded in a couple months. It's been three years and I STILL get compliments when I run into people I haven't seen in the few years since I've had the peel.
Three years ago I had a Croton Phenol Peel done and my surgeon was feeling generous. He not only applied the product below my eyes but quite generously for about two inches. The result is a stained red triangle beneath both eyes, high on the cheeks. I look like I've been drinking all day even after one glass of wine. I look like a Cupie Doll. I was told the redness would wear off within six months. The peel did get rid of wrinkles but at this cost, I know I could've done something else that would've been effective and not left this embarrasing stain. What can be done to fix this? Thank you. DebraThree years ago I had a Croton Phenol Peel and was told I would have some redness on my cheeks for about six months.
