Dr. Breslow is a truly gifted plastic surgeon and my experience with both him and his team has been spectacular. I met with several surgeons prior to choosing Dr. Breslow for my tummy tuck. Dr. Breslow impressed me on many levels. First, his education and background are top-notch. Second, he has a very thoughtful and honest demeanor and I felt very comfortable during the consultation. Third, his office staff and team are professional, friendly and very responsive. I had my tummy tuck done only 2 weeks ago and I can’t get over how great it looks already. I’ve never had a taut stomach and now I do! I feel great and LOVE the results! My experience with Dr. Breslow is an A++. I’m beyond thrilled and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding plastic surgeon.
I want to thank Dr. Breslow for the beautiful job he did on my tummy tuck. Also, when I first scheduled my surgery, I was unable to have it because my hemoglobin was low. He decided to cancel the surgery and wait until it was back to normal, which shows how concerned he is with his patients well-being. I know not only that I had a greatly skilled doctor, but also that I was surrounded with a wonderful staff. Melissa and everyone were always very caring. After the surgery, I came to the office many times and Dr. Breslow was always very helpful. It has been five months now, and although I sill have some swelling, I love the new look and I cannot thank you enough. I am so pleased that I have found an amazing doctor who is extremely skilled and is very passionate about his work.
My entire experience at the Breslow Center was nothing short of outstanding. Naturally, I was nervous to undergo major cosmetic surgery, but Dr. Breslow was extremely professional when we met at the consult, and he assured me that I would be happy with the results. His bedside manner is cut and dry- which is why I chose him. His confidence is warranted; as he did a FANTASTIC job. He is a true artist and a phenomenal medical expert. I truly couldn’t be happier! All of the Nurses and office staff at the Breslow Center are also wonderful. Madison, his Nurse Practitioner, provides medical excellence and comfort to all her patients. She is warm, friendly, and thorough with your every need post-op. If you are looking for a new lease on life, and a newfound feeling of beauty and youth, Dr. Breslow is the one to go to.
I was referred to Dr. Breslow by a friend who also had a similar procedure. She highly recommended him immediately when I shared my thoughts about having a Breast Enlargement. Between the online consultation, my 1st consult with Dr. Breslow, the office nurses and the technology available in the office I was able to achieve the exact result I was looking for. I am very pleased with the outcome and have had a very pleasant experience with this Doctor and his office. A+++ Thank You!!!
I was 48 years old when I broke my nose. Dr. Breslow was highly recommended by a friend. I met with him and his staff and he was very patient and accommodating as he reviewed the available treatment options. We scheduled the procedure, which went well and Dr. Breslow and his staff were wonderful before, during and after. And, I have to say, I think my new nose is fabulous! Dr. Breslow and his team has my highest recommendation.
As I rang in this New Year, I never would have thought that a few days later I would be diagnosed with breast cancer. When I met with my breast surgeon we discussed my recovery, she told me to make an appointment with Drs. Breslow and Farkas. My doctor stated they were the best so I did so without hesitation. After meeting with them, I immediately knew why they came so highly recommended. I had a bilateral mastectomy and both Dr. Breslow and Dr. Farkas did my Breast Reconstruction and Flap surgery. The surgery took 13 hours. I remember reading on my Surgical Summary, “Rest assured that we will do everything we can to help make this a positive experience”. I had no idea how the recovery from this kind of surgery could be positive in the slightest bit. I can honestly say with all my heart, they did keep their word. Not only were the doctors wonderful, but their entire staff as well. They all took care of me as if I were the most important person in the world. Drs. Breslow and Farkas are not only the most brilliant and gifted surgeons I could have ever asked for; but also, they are the most wonderful human beings. Whenever I had a question or concern, they have always addressed it immediately and with much care. Their kindness was so reassuring to me. The thought of cancer is very scary and traumatizing; however, with the help of the Breslow Center they gave me the strength and means to recover. I think the world of these doctors as well as every member of their staff. The staff’s caring attitude was exceptional. I’ve grown so attached to everyone. At one point I was told I didn’t have to come back until my chemo was finished. I was shocked, instead of feeling relieved, I felt empty inside. The group had become such an important part of my life. If every doctor and their office staff were as caring and generous as the Breslow Center, the world would be a much happier and healthier place to be. I can never thank them enough for helping to save me both physically and emotionally. I would have never believed that cancer could have brought so many wonderful people into my life. Even in my hardest times, they’ve always managed to put a smile on my face. With My Sincerest Thanks.
After being diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer it was recommended by my Breast Surgeon to see Dr Breslow. I can't say enough how happy I am I came to him. He and his staff are so caring and compassionate. They made me feel better about myself while being in a horrible situation. Dr Breslow took the time to explain all my options and in the end I decided to have a mastectomy with reconstruction. THANK YOU for taking such great care of me.
I had a very professional and pleasant experience before my procedure and during follow up visits. The surgery was uneventful and tolerated better than expected. My questions were answered, addressed concerns explained. I am very happy with the result, and I am glad I chose Dr.Breslow and his team for my surgery!!!
I am very pleased with my experience and the outcomes with Dr. Breslow. Everyone in the office was extremely thoughtful responsive to my needs during the entire cancer treatment and breast reconstruction process. I always felt like I my concerns were being addressed and my questions were thoughtfully answered. There are so many decisions to make from the moment one is diagnosed and it is easy to be overwhelmed. Dr. Breslow and staff were always willing to take the time to answer by phone calls, answer my questions without making me feel rushed. I am very satisfied with my reconstructed body. For me, the reconstruction process was a key step in my treatment and recovery.
If you are concerned about a scar in your armpit and your areolas are small, then I would strongly recommend having the incision at the base of the breast. It is the most common incision with the least complications, and the scars are well-hidden.
Breast augmentation is not a permanent cure for small breasts as your breast will keep changing over time. It is not necessary that you wait on having children before having a breast augmentation, so long as you understand that your breasts will likely change size and shape, and more surgery may need to be performed at some point in the future after you have your children.
We recommend that our patients start massaging their breasts 2 days after breast augmentation, 3 times a day for about 5 -10 minutes. We recommend continuing this for 6 weeks. You should do it in front of a mirror to gauge the effect that it is having.
Great question. Basically, if your breasts are too small they need to be augmented. If they're too low, they need to be lifted. If they're small and low, then you need both. Trying to lift a breast with an implant is tricky, and only works to a limited degree. Going too large to achieve this has the opposite effect as the weight of the implant will cause the breasts to drop.
Unfortunately, your breast-breast distance is set and cannot be changed or moved closer (trying to do so with implants will create symmastia, which is a big problem). Properly placed implants, however, can increase cleavage, which will give the appearance of the breasts being closer together.
