I had my surgery in May of 2023 so its currently been 1.5 years as I'm writing this out.

I was very impressed with the overall experience. I Dr. Pelen based on his Instagram and reviews online - and it also felt very safe that he operated at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital as its one of the best private hospitals. I arrived the day before to have some blood drawn and get a feel for the hospital, and on the day of the operation I met with Dr. Pelen to discuss my wants. He was honest with his thoughts and I decided to tell him my wants from the operation - but ultimately to do what he thought best as he is the expert.

The overall experience at the hospital with the nurses was also great - keep in mind majority will not speak much English - but this was easily solved through Google Translate.

My healing journey was a bit difficult in the first few days due to a lot of swelling in my face - but this is very individual I've come to learn) and remained quite swollen for a few weeks - however at around 6 months P.O I felt it was fairly healed - but I would say the 12 month mark really made the difference with no more swelling at all :)

As you can see in the photos - the nose has changed quite a lot since the first week post surgery. TRUST THE PROCESS. I definitely felt uglier the first few weeks, but was prepared I would not feel great about it immediately as I had read this over and over again in different online forums from people who had already gone through rhinoplasty.

I am super happy with the results and finally don't feel the need to hide my nose from the worst angles. t now suits my face, and has enhanced the rest of my features. My face now looks more symmetric.

I did so much research to find the most suitable Dr for my rhinoplasty for about 2 years and I came across Dr.Ardapelen. His work is amazing. Him and his assistant guided be throughout the whole journey and made sure my experience was great. Dr Ardapelen listened to all my concerns and was very honest about the outcome of it and advised me on what he thinks is suitable for my face. The nurses at the hospital were very friendly and took great care of me too. It’s been one month since my rhinoplasty and I’m already so happy with my results. It’s nicely lifted and curved. My nose suits my face a lot and I have received so many compliments. You should definitely trust the process and be patient with the healing process so don’t worry too much. I have no complications or problems. I couldn’t be anymore happier with my results. Dr Ardapelen has helped boost my confidence a lot and I’m very grateful for him. I am grateful that I found Dr. Galip Arda Pelen, because he fulfilled my dream of having a beautiful nose with a perfect shape. Proud and thankful for Dr. G. Arda Pelen. I have been anticipating getting a rhinoplasty for many years now. After a long wait and doing a thorough research in finding a doctor that will make my vision come to life, I had viewed his profile on this website. Dr. G. Arda Pelen communicated with me at our consultation, before the surgery and in my follow-up in English and he listened to all my concerns. The doctor also asked if I had experienced trauma to my nose from previous years which I had forgotten to mention but was grateful for his knowledge and insight. Honestly, I am not sure if I can do him any justice with mere words. I am quite the most picky and anxious person you can run into and this experience thanks to Dr. Pelen resulted to a wonderful result, that I am happy and quite content with (my nose).
Tips:
-voice out your concerns, pictures you aspire to have your nose resemble (keep in mind if it’s realistic, the doctor will guide you and be fully transparent)
-have any questions up and ready, preferably on a notes app (I got nervous and lost my train of thought then lol)
-you can visit Dr. G. Arda Pelen’s Instagram page to find the numbers posted to communicate and get briefed (seeking surgery date, etc)
