After having three girls, I didn’t like my body anymore, specifically the pouch.
I couldn’t wait to get rid of it. I live in Anaheim, CA and had 3 consultations in Orange County, and one in TJ, Mexico. The pricing varied in the US but the work seemed better in Mexico. I was going in for a tummy tuck and lipo but learned that Vaser Lipo is safer because there is less bruising and bleeding and healing is faster. I then began searching for Vaser surgeons and found a UTube video of a Dr. that explained how he used Vaser lipo in his procedures. His name was Dr. Gabriel Mecott of NuBody in Monterey Nuevo Leon, MX. I began reading all his reviews and looking at pictures of his work which seemed very good so I called the office to get more information.
The initial consultation was virtual and I liked Dr. Mecott from the beginning. He was as or more qualified than the surgeons I spoke to in the US. I was very impressed by his honesty and integrity. Of course, I was nervous and hesitant about traveling out of the country for surgery but where you get your surgery is not nearly as important as who does your surgery!! I did plenty of research on where Dr. Mecott had studied and most importantly that he was board certified.
Dr. Mecott is an excellent doctor with a very professional team. His coordinator Gabi is very attentive and communicative. Since my initial consultation she called or text regarding forms, my physical in the US and made appointments in Mexico for additional tests needed.
On July 18, 2023, I had the pleasure of having Dr. Mecott perform a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, Vaser lipo, and arm lipo with fat transfer to the buttocks and hips. He listened to my concerns and made suggestions, always giving me his recommendations. Before the surgery, the Dr. went and met with my husband who was in the lobby to explain the procedure. Afterwards, he did the same, and went back to let him know the surgery was completed and I was safe. Not only was the surgical procedure a success, but the entire experience at the surgery center was incredible. I stayed the night and was released in the morning. The surgery center had a good reputation and was exceptionally clean. The nurses were attentive, caring, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They diligently ensured I received all the necessary post-surgery care needed.
Dr. Mecott did an amazing job at giving me the results I asked for. He removed as much fat as he safely could without complications. I am super happy with my decision of choosing this excellent surgeon. He even gave me his personal number after surgery to contact him if I had any concerns. Gabi, coordinator, is super sweet and always there to answer any questions. My surgery included 3 free lymphatic massages by Sarai, and I purchased several more. The receptionist, Erika, scheduled my massages and diligently sent me reminders.
I had a great experience without any complications. I am beyond grateful every time I look in the mirror. For the first time, I get excited about shopping for clothes and not have to worry about hiding. I absolutely love my new body and my self-esteem has boosted to another level. I've been through several surgeries with different doctors and for sure Dr. Mecott has been the only one I've felt safe and so happy with the results! Can't wait to have another surgery with him, he's the best!

I had my mommy makeover with Dr. Gabriel Mecott and I highly recommend him, in surgery I had a liposculpture with fat transfer to the buttocks and hip, a lipectomy and a breast augmentation, the results were better than expected and the recovery was the correct time and without any health problem or post-operative risk. After years of not being happy with my skin due to pregnancy, now I feel better than before, I'm delighted with my new silhouette and confident when trying on any type of garment because now I wear it with more confidence. I highly recommend Dr. Mecott not only because of his experience but also because of the treatment I received from his entire staff, his professional ethics and that him being a certified doctor I entered the operating room with total medical safety. Amazing Doctor, he is explaining everything and answered all my questions, also he gave me all the attention needed after the surgery, also his team gave all the needed attention, with my questions about the surgery and also with my travel to the city of Monterrey

Dr. Gabriel and his staff were excellent to work with and I highly recommend. I traveled from Florida so all the prep work was done from afar and it was a wonderful experience.

From the first call I made to the office to inquire about surgery, his staff was responsive and knowledgeable.

I decided to get the “mommy makeover” and did all of the prep work remotely. My husband and I completed a video meeting with Dr. Gabriel to discuss any questions or concerns we had. He was very professional, extremely experienced, and took his time. Even though we weren’t face to face, I felt like I had his complete attention and answered any and all the questions we had.

Once the surgery was scheduled, we scheduled a pre-op appointment where I met Dr. Gabriel and his staff. We did a test fit for size and pre-surgery pictures. Once again Dr. Gabriel answered any questions we had and never tried to rush us out the door. After the pre-op, Dr. Gabriel gave me his number so I could communicate directly with him leading up to and after the surgery.

The surgery went smoothly, the anesthesiologist was great and Dr. Gabriel did an amazing job!!! He came and checked on me after the surgery to make sure I wasn’t having any issues.

After I was discharged, Dr. Gabriel maintained excellent communication during my recovery process and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Something good to know is his office offers massages to help with the swelling and liquid removal process so I highly recommend those. They did wonders.

I was able to have the tubes removed in 10 days and the final consult was great. I was able to travel back to Florida without issue.

In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Gabriel and his staff. If you are worried about having to travel they make it easy and it’s absolutely worth it!!

The BEST!!! After my tummy tuck with another physician, I was rather unhappy with the lack of shape and contour of my body. I shopped many Doctors in many different countries including my hometown of Miami, Florida and was really impressed with Dr Mecotts communication and follow up. He responded to my messages at all times of day and night. I has 2 procedured done where Dr Mecott transformed my square body into one that turns heads! I get mistaken for being my daughters age! Dr Mecott fixed and contoured my BBL, gave me hips that I didnt know I was missing, sculpted my abs into what looks like Ive done 1000 situps. All very natural looking and not overdone. Im so please with the Drs work I give myself a second glance every time I walk past a mirror- and I am not a vain person!

Dr Mecott has a warm sense of humor, a kind way about him, and his communication skills stayed at top level the entire procedure and recovery period.

I couldnt have had a better experience. The Dr has a good eye and is very skilled. I cant say enough!

I had the breast augmentation procedure done with Dr Gabriel in June of 2018. My experience could have not been better. The doctor was very thorough in describing the procedure and walked me step by step to what I should expect during and after its completion. He also informed me of the risks and what to do about them in case they manifest. He was also very caring and easy to talk to and relate. Since my procedure, I have reached out to the doctor with questions and he has been very proactive in his responses. I truly feel lucky and in great hands with Dr Gabriel. I highly recommend him
