I have been going to Dr. Brandt for 6 years. He is the best there is for Botox. He does it in areas I would never think to ask for and the whole effect is so natural no one would ever guess. Even I look at myself and think I look much better after I see him but I don't know why. However, I saw him for pigmentation/dark spots several times and he was always pushing new (more expensive) lasers and treatments on me that did not work. I felt like I spent thousands for no reason. Another doc recommended IPL and it worked great. Lastly, expect a VERY long wait in his office. You could be in the chair for an hour waiting for him to come in. And he does rush you. He tries to cram as many people in as possible, so don't expect to get a lot of time with him. If I found someone else who was as good at Botox I would have switched. But I have not, so Dr. Brandt it is.
I have had botox before, and I have never looked this good (and I was younger then!). The wait time is an issue, but I wait at ALL of my doctor's offices - small price to pay when going to the best. Dr. Brandt takes the time to really get the best results. I am pleased with the results of every procedure he has recommended.
I went to see him because I needed some fullness in my cheeks. He treated me with Juvaderm filler, which cost me over $3000. Started to get lumps which he injected to dissolve them. Now it's 1 year later and I still keep getting them. Too much injected! He screamed at me for not being happy & I left!
I have tried many doctors..many, just for my crow's feet around eye area. Dr. Brandt, although expensive and far away was the one who achieved great results. I had paid $500 for the same treatment with other doctors and was shocked to get a bill of $1400 when I checked out. I guess you get what you pay for. Too bad Botox only lasts 3 months.
Can Be Impossible but He's Worth It - Miami, FL
I got 4 treatments with the Gemini laser for age spot and pigmentation removal. Not only was there no improvement but more spots seem to be coming since I had the last treatment three weeks ago. My dermatologist said Gemini was best for me because I have olive skin. He also prescribed tri-luma. Have been avoiding the sun for two years now. Use 50+ sunscreen, and wear hats. I know this happened because of the laser.
Hello, and thank you for your question. In order to provide a sufficient answer I should explain that BOTOX doesn't work in the same way as injectable fillers. Rather than filling wrinkles from the inside, BOTOX relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles to form. Think of crow's feet and glabellar lines (the "11s" between the eyebrows), which form when you make an expression. For this reason, BOTOX can also be used off-label to treat vertical lip lines, forehead wrinkles, and neck bands. It's important to choose a highly qualified injector for these indications, as they require a certain level of artistry and a conservative approach. Without a photo, it's difficult to tell you exactly which of your lines can be remedied by BOTOX, but your practitioner should be able to give you a good prediction. Best of luck.
