I had a terrible experience with Voluma. I was referred to Dr Lukash by another plastic surgeon to see what my options were in terms of fillers for my hollowed cheeks. I went for a consult along with pictures of my reaction to Voluma. He lootat then and said I developed a hypersensitivity to hylarounic acid and no more fillers for me. My options were Fat Transfer or Sculptra. He took his time explaining both and said it was my decision. I decided on Sculptra even after reading all the horror stories. He told me stop reading. I just had my second round of 2 vials a month apart. I had minimal swelling and no bruising. My husband told me he can see my face starting to fill in. So far so good. Dr Lukash is wonderful. He’s kind patient and compassionate. My advice to anyone considering Sculptra is make sure you see a BSPS with a lot of experience injecting Sculptra. It’s all about injector experience and technique.
