Hi realselfies. Im beginning my review of Dr. Castro today, 8 weeks pre-op. So far the communication with him and his staff has been good. I'm scheduled to have liposculpture with a fat transfer to the butt. I chose Dr. Castro not only because he has all the certifications that you should look for in a plastic surgeon, but is also personable, honest, and seems to give "natural" looking results for a reasonable price. I did not feel like they were overcharging me just because i was an overseas patient. My overall quote for 5 areas of lipo and fat transfer to the butt is $2,500 USD plus about another $1,000 USD for post-opt care. I believe this cost will vary depending on each individual. Im a 31 yo woman, 5'6', about 160lbs. Will continue to post reviews as the date gets closer. Im very excited!! Updated on 8 May 2019: hello, I am currently about 16 days Post-op and doing well. I want to say that the care I received from Dr. Castro and his staff was excellent. He and his nurses are such caring people. You can tell they really work to make you happy, and safe and aren't just out to get your business like many others out there. My liposculpture procedure went as planned. No complications and I followed his instructions to the T. I received about 12 lymphatic drainage massages before I left Colombia. I am attaching a couple of pics to show the progress, though I still have tons of healing to do and I still have a lot inflammation/swelling

I'm on the final count down till my surgery. I'm going with a coworker and her friend. I'm having liposuction of my legs, arms,stomach, and back, breast lift with implants, and a little shaping of my butt. I've done a ton of research and read ton of reviews here on RS. The one thing Ive found difficult is a recovery house. But I found a nice hotel that seems to be able to fit our needs but we shall see. I'll post before pics tomorrow. Updated on 18 Jan 2016: So I came down early to get my labs done and a ekg. So far things are falling into place. I'll be having my surgery Fri morning. I'm super excited. It's funny my snack bag was bigger than my clothing bag. Updated on 21 Jan 2016: I've finally paid for my surgery and extras. I'm set to have my surgery at 6am. I arrived on Sun had my labs done on Mon. Saw the anestiologist on Tuesday. Spent Wed/Thurs enjoying the sights of Bogota. My mom, brother, and boyfriend are here with me. Can't wait until this time tomorrow I will be on the flatside.
