I had a WLS office (not the actual doctor) tell me that they won't operate with that. They asked about a haital hernia and I didn't even know what that was, but told them I had a hernia removed down by my pubic area. The woman said that counted too. It is in my groin area and nowhere near my stomach. It happened in 1990 when I was 6 (now 32). This makes no sense to me.

In my opinion if your Band is &nbsp;working good&nbsp;and not slipped according to your barium swallow, &nbsp;you can have both surgeries done at the same time, I am pretty positive that you can loose more then 13 kg. by just changing your eating habits. No more acid reflux or hunger and a good follow up with the nutritionist.

9 years ago I was banded at 152kg i list 60kg getting down to 92kg, lately my band feels like it's playing up, my weight is up to 105kg, I go from being able to eat a fair bit to getting minimal and vomiting. I'm hungry a lot and have been getting weird night reflux,more . I had a barium swallow and showed no slip. After discussion with my surgeon I am to get my band removed in two weeks and sleeve down in December. My nurse said I mist probably won't loose any more than the 13kg I put on?

We know that some insurance companies in the&nbsp;US ask patients for&nbsp;multiple visits with nutritionist and/or psychologist and even after attending this they reject you. We are a group with 15 years experience in the field and with us you don't have to go thru this, all you need is to do is have a evaluation with the surgeon that could be done by phone, or by filling out a HQ to know your medical profile and prepare you for&nbsp;a 10 day liquid diet before your surgery.

Im consider having wls and im wanted to do the sleeve. Im doing the six months visits that i know my insurance is going to require. I wish i could skip the visits and go right into having the surgery.

having 21 years with IMB 40 being the normal range is 20 to 25, you have almost twice what you should weigh, and most likely that overweight affects your back. you should not expect more or take control of your life now or diseases conditioned by obesity will do it for you
