Dr. Fatima lovely, kind and super professional. She kindly answered to all my questions and made me feel comfortable. She is also very gentle and the treatment wasn’t painful at all. I definitely recommend her and rtwskin clinic.
I saw Dr Fatima for a mole consultation and its subsequent removal. Dr Fatima was highly knowledgeable, reassuring, kind and professional and I felt I couldn't be in safer hands. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Dr. Fatima made sure I felt comfortable and calmed my nerves when I went for a mole check and removal. Dr. Fatima provided an easy, pleasant experience and was lovely - I would recommend her to everyone! Thank you!
Excellent experience! Dr Fatima listened to my concerns with a professional and courteous manner. The aftercare service was also exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend her and RTW to others. Very pleased with the results.
A lovely caring doctor who has done for my skin in just over a year what I haven’t been able to achieve with just NHS help in over 20 years. Would return without hesitation. Communication is always great and appointments at convenient times.
Dr Fatima has been fantastic and her care has been better than expected from consultation right through to treatment. The results from the treatment that Dr Fatima recommended were far better than I could've imaged, which has been a real bonus. Thank you!
Dr Ahmed was warm and welcoming with an honest, assuring and highly professional manner. She quickly came across as very experienced and offered me a variety of options for my personal situation. She worked quickly and painlessly. I felt comfortable throughout and in good hands. I would recommend Dr Ahmed to anyone who was concerned about any skin related concern and I am certain she is incredibly experienced further than this. The costs can run high but I personally wanted to avoid long NHS wait lists and it was indeed the best decision I made.
I had 2 troublesome moles removed from my face. The procedure was quick and painless. I’m delighted with the results - it’s difficult to see now where they were. Dr Fatima was friendly, very professional and completely put me at ease for the procedure. I can thoroughly recommend consulting Dr Fatima.
Best treatment, great service and after care. I had acne issues since my teen age, it got worse with the time and left me with the deep scars and pigmentation all over the face. NHS treatment didn’t help. RTWSKIN’s Dr Fatima reassured me and started treatment for my acne scars, pigmentation. I only had two treatments and I see significant improvement on my face. I feel much more confident about my personality. Credit goes to Dr Fatima
Dr Ahmed is a wonderful and kind doctor, who has given me results no one could. 2 reasons for that, she is not a technician but a fully fledged Dermatogolist. I was about to make a big mistake and have pigmentation removes by laser, as I was told that it was sun damaged (by someone unqualified). Dr Ahmed looked at my skin and it was not sun damaged but had hormonal causes, which is not the same at all or requires the same treatment. She suggested to try Obagi new Derm which is a 3 months cream treatment. I had the full results after 6 weeks which is unbelieable. My skin is radiant and I am staying client for life. Please go and see Dr Ahmed you will have a professional opinion without feeling pushed into making decisions. She is very nice and to better standards that the doctors had seen in my native Paris.
Thanks for asking. The common treatment options to improve hypertrophied scars include silicon scar gel sheets, (but will take a long time to show improvement, or sometimes may not be effective enough), the other options are steroid injections with triamcinolone acetonide 10 mg per ml or 40 mg per ml, depending upon the size and response of the scar. Kindly see a dermatologist who is experienced in this treatment. Indentation and telengiectasia are most common risks involved, but done with a small amount of steroid with least strength in the expert hands can give good results. Wish you all the best.
Thanks for asking. All birth control pills have the ability to influence the growth and appearance of your scalp and body hair. While birth control pills may not affect your scalp hair at all, they can do so if you have a genetic predisposition to hormonal hair loss and/or follicle sensitivity to androgens (male hormones). In these cases, the effect they have on your hair can either be positive or negative and this depends on the pill’s hormone combination and/or on your body’s metabolism. Interestingly enough, certain birth control pills are sometimes prescribed solely to combat hair loss as a hair loss treatment – such as Dainette in the case of hair loss associated with PCOS. It’s important to note that androgens are present in all women, but in smaller amounts than men. However, some women’s hair follicles are sensitive to even normal or sub-normal amounts of male hormones, while others only experience hair loss when they have excess amounts – if at all. Examples of anti-androgenic contraceptive pills are Yasmin, Dianette and Cileste. There are certain treatment options for hair loss, which include PRP or Excimer laser which can be tried to stimulate hair growth. All the best. It would be best to see a dermatologist. All the best.
Thanks asking. Botox for Migraine injected at specific points in the forehead and glabella (frown area) helps with the wrinkle reduction as well. Botox done for bruxism reduced the bulk of masseter by relaxing it so indirectly slims down the face slighlty. Botox is a very effective treatment for Migraine and Bruxism which can give added benefit of improving the wrinkles in those particular areas. Hope this helps.
Thanks for asking. Angular cheilitis is a common inflammatory condition affecting the corners of the mouth or oral commissures. Depending on underlying causes, it may last a few days or persist indefinitely. It is also called angular stomatitis, cheilosis and perleche (perlèche). It is best to see a Gp or dermatologist for prescription of the suitable medication. The treatment options are: Topical treatmentsDaktarin ® cream (miconazole) may be preferable as it treats candida, as well as having some Gram‐positive bacteriostatic actionIf the skin is significantly inflamed consider a topical steroid combination product eg Daktacort ® cream (miconazole plus 1% hydrocortisone), or, the short-term use of Trimovate ® creamIf the skin is not improving, treat with Fucidin ® cream (fusidic acid) or Fucidin H ® cream (also contains 1% hydrocortisone), at least four times daily. Hope this helps. Wish you all the best.
Thanks for asking. From the pictures the lesion on the mid upper lip appears to be a venous lake. A venous lake is a common bluish soft macule or papule due to vascular dilatation. It would be best to consult a dermatologist and get it diagnosed, once confirmed it can be improved with a vascular laser. It can require few sessions but goes down effectively.
