HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Over about seven months, I consulted with four different plastic surgeons in my area to do my tummy tuck and brachioplasty. Dr. Kazmier was who I ultimately decided to go with and I am BEYOND pleased that I did! She is an absolute artistic genius when it comes to plastic surgery! I was pretty confident that after my massive weight loss, I would forever be left with some sort of lumpiness no matter how much surgery I could afford to fix it. I had my extended, drainless tummy tuck by Dr. Kazmier five days ago and got to see the very beginning of my results this morning. To tell you that I am completely floored and impressed with my results would be a gross understatement! I have a body that I never imagined I would ever be able to have! Perfect hourglass shape! As I mentioned, Dr. Kazmier performed my surgery without drains. Out of all the surgeons I consulted with, she was the only one trained to do this without drains and after my research on the difference, I would never even consider getting a tummy tuck with drains! Dr. Kazmier carefully fixed my separated abdominal muscles and strategically sutured all the way down as she worked to avoid any open areas for fluid to build up. Your body then reabsorbs that fluid and expels it without drains. This results in minimal swelling, minimal fluid retention, minimal risk for infection, minimal bruising and an even more “snatched” result. Not to mention, you never have to deal with the inconvenience and pain of drains. The surgery day went smooth as butter and Dr. Kazmier’s team was absolutely incredible! Even if I wanted to find something to complain about, I couldn’t!!! Her office staff, facilities, communication, surgery, itself- all has been an amazing and rewarding experience. Hands-down the BEST experience I could have asked for! I’ve already gotten my brachioplasty scheduled and will be getting a few other things done in the near-future. My husband and I have thoroughly agreed that we would NEVER go to another plastic surgeon! After taking almost two years to lose 135lbs, I couldn’t be happier! Literally life-changing! If you’re on the fence about plastic surgery, I’d absolutely 110% recommend making an appointment with Dr. Kazmier! She will answer all of your questions and thoroughly explain EVERYTHING you want and need to know!
Dr. Kazmier has changed my life. I have dealt with big breasts since puberty (44I at my heaviest and 36H at my skinniest and when I visited her) and I was just fed up with them. I have been oversexualized since I was a small child because of them (DD cup at 13yo) and have been bullied through MS, HS and college and still got starred at and whispered about in stores as an adult. I have paid so much money over the years for bras that would barely fit and cried in fitting rooms because no clothes would fit right. My back has been killing me for years and the straps and underwires were digging in my skin. I had finally had enough when I went to Dr. Kazmier's office at the Watson clinic in Lakeland. I knew I needed this done and insurance needed to cover it for me since it's so expensive and it was affecting my quality of life. I was sleeping poorly, my posture was horrible and just had a myriad of issues because of these breasts. I had my consult with the PA Chelsea Lockhart who was amazing and she took diligent notes for insurance as well as listened to my concerns. She explained all the possible risks and complications and took photos as well as told me how much was estimated for removal. Everything was submitted to insurance and I was approved. Finally got a surgery date and went in for my procedure at the Lakeland diagnostic and surgical clinic. Everyone there was impecable and Dr. Kazmier did an incredible job on my chest. Even the nurses were saying that she's a perfectionist and she will get everything as perfect as possible. The office checked on me consistently in the first week and leading to my 1 week post-op as well ensured the rest of my post-op appointments are scheduled in advance. I'm only 9 days post op and im so grateful! I love my breasts and im so happy I had a reduction. She truly did magic and she has changed my life more than she'll ever know. I'll forever be grateful to her and her team!
I am 5"7 and 33 years old. I am a mom of two BIG boys who did a number on the girls! After my youngest tureen 2, I began working out again like crazy. Running and lifting and the first thing to go was absoutlely my boobs. I was in a AA cup when I went to see Dr Kazmier. Before seeing her, I saw about 4 others for a consultation. Thrall suggested going way larger than I was comfortable with. When I met with Dr. Kazmier she actually took an interest in my lifestyle and hobbies and when she heard I was a runner and a professional she made the perfect suggestion from a size perspective. I had so much trust in her at that point. She was kind and understanding and her entire staff was comforting and easy to talk to. I 1 million percent recommend Dr Kazmier for a breast augmentation! She's the best! Details I am now a full B with 200 cc on my right and 220 on my left. I did not have a lift and we went with the high resolution silicone.
After recently having a 4th breast lift/ augmentation / revision with Dr. Kazmier due to a ruptured implant, i was considering removal all together. I decided to see Dr. Kazmier for a consult and while i am still healing, there is no question i saved the best for last! Having worked in surgery as a physician assistant for over 20 years, i highly endorse the work of Dr. Kazmier! Do NOT be dissuaded by the inability to view before and after photos online prior to the consult. You can view them at that time and will see for yourself. She is a true perfectionist in my opinion and clearly takes pride in her work. You must have realistic expectations, however, and trust that her recommendations will ensure the best possible outcome. Definitely do not hesitate to consult with her! I just wish she had been here 20 years ago!
My experience with Dr. Kazmier and her staff was exceptional from the very first visit. I felt comfortable and confident right away. Dr. Kazmier gave me an honest and informative evaluation on my particular issues.
Dr. Kazmier is amazing. Not only us her work impeccable her bedside manner is amazing. She is extremely thorough in explaining everything to you ans answering all your questions. Her staff is also very friendly and amazing too. I highly recommend her for any plastic surgery you are considering. Updated on 18 Jul 2016: Update!! Updated on 21 Jul 2016: 3wpo.....loving how allllllll clothes fit sp much better!!! Updated on 7 Aug 2016: My right side is settling nicely and us softer. My left side is still high and not as soft. Some days i have no aches or zingers...some days I have quite a few! Updated on 6 May 2022: It has been 6 years, and I am still loving my girls and have zero regrets. I have had no issues or complications and clothes fit so much better now. I have gained about 10lbs since I got them and they are fuller. I do not really know what size I am because I do not wear a bra. I live in sports bras, no bra or bralettes. Size mediums fit me best.
I am a mommy of 2 kids. My weight got up to 196 pounds at one point. I am only 5ft tall so that weight made me look very large. I worked my butt off to get down to 126lbs. Between the weightloss and pregnancies my skin was extremely stretched. I work out 4 days a week and no matter how many crunches I did the skin was not goung to tighten back up. So 2 days ago I had a tummy tuck and breast implants. I had to go back to the doctor 1 day after surgery and that's the first time I seen myself. I broke down crying because I actually had a normal looking belly button. I am now worried a bit because I have this cough and I am so scared the cough is going to rupture something or tear a stitch that is in my abs. Updated on 7 Apr 2016: I loved reading all the post prior too and even after my surgrey that I wanted to post about my recovery so far. I am 8 days post op from breast implants and a fully tummy tuck and starting to feel really good. I had both drains removed today. I was super nervous but it was just a few seconds of a pain/burning sensation and it was over with. Yesterday, which was one week from the surgery date the doctor allowed me to start standing up straight. You would think it would be easy to stand up but it's a bit difficult. It feels like your tummy is stretching and of course I am worried about stretching my incension. I haven't taken any pain meds in the last 3 days. I do take Tylenol which helps but the pain is not enough to need the pain meds. I don't like how they make me feel. All in all I am feeling much better and even went out to Olive Garden for lunch today.
I am an older gal that has tried for many years to get rid of the pooch of a tummy. I have always been taunted all my life for being very thin, never believing, that I would ever have any excess fat. I blamed the hysterectomy, my doctor said it's heredity. My wonderful husband loves me just the way I am, but I am doing this procedure for me, myself, and I. I am elated to have found this website and many TT sistas. I have learned a great deal through your preparations and experiences. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Updated on 8 Aug 2013: Slept most of the day when I arrived back home. Not in any pain, just had a headache that has finally gone away. I have a dining room chair by the bed to help me get in and out. Also, I have a sturdy step ladder by the toilet - that has helped getting up and down. ugggg .... I have the hiccups this morning .... need more coffee! Updated on 9 Aug 2013: Went to visit with my dr. she is a 1/2 hour ride away, wished I had taken a pill for nauseous. She said I was really swollen and bruised. Her assistant loosen the binder - that thing is so uncomfortable! I think it was ordered for XX Tall Men! Can only eat lightly - applesauce and soup. Updated on 9 Aug 2013: My back is killing me from walking humped over. The heating pad feels really good. Dr. said I could not have any protein shakes until I pass gas -- I can have a shake today! woohoo! Updated on 10 Aug 2013: I am feeling pretty good this morning, think I will try to get by with an extra-strength tylenol for pain. I am HUNGRY want some real food today! The dr. staff called yesterday to let me know, they are just a phone call away if I need something for the weekend. Updated on 13 Aug 2013: Saw the ps and received good news - removing the pain pump! The pain pump was different than what I had expected. It was like carrying around a 5# cannon ball, which had its own carrying case with a shoulder strap. The removal of the tube felt a little weird. Was told that since I had a bm, I could eat whatever I wanted. I get to take a shower the following day, and on Wednesday (week po), I can start walking upright. No longer taking any pain pills, just my antibiotic - dr. did say that any medication I had taken before the surgery, I can now get back on. The other 2 drains remain, she wants me to call into the office every morning with the amount of drainage, keeping my fingers crossed that I these come out this week. Updated on 13 Aug 2013: This morning I took a shower and washed my hair! Its the little things that make us happy!! I found in a drawer, Mardi Gras plastic beads to clip my drains to while showering. lol Called to give the ps my drainage count (15cc) and was told she did not want to remove them today, but maybe tomorrow if the number is low again. I though I had to keep these darn things in until Friday -- things are looking up, ladies! Updated on 14 Aug 2013: woohoo! I have a week under my belt! Hoping the ps will remove the drains today - she said if the number was low again. I awoke feeling tight and swollen this morning, usually that comes on in the afternoon. Just going to have to take it extra easy today. Uploading a pic of the new tummy & bb - I am very pleased. Sending out hugs to all my TT Sistas! Updated on 15 Aug 2013: Received a call from the ps office to come in yesterday afternoon for the removal of the drains! YEA! It was not as bad as I had anticipated, the nurse had me to take a deep breath and on the count of 3, to release the air as she pulled out the drain. Next 2 weeks will be healing until my next visit with the ps. Sending out continual healing thoughts to my TT Sistas & wishing the best to the upcoming TT's! hugs! Updated on 21 Aug 2013: I had a tummy tuck! I am still a little swollen and tight feeling, but improving every day. There have been a few days that I felt like someone had punched the heck out of my torso, and I am perhaps more bent over in the afternoons. The bruising around the suture is completely gone now. I can now sleep on my side and have been sleeping better. I am happy that I did this and elated with the results so far. Next week I am scheduled to have the sutures removed, fingers crossed that I can get rid of the binder, too! I cannot wait to go clothes shopping! Updated on 30 Aug 2013: Had the sutures removed a couple of days ago! Because I am still numb, there was no discomfort. There is still a little swelling and that should be going away in a couple more weeks. I asked how much longer I had to wear the uncomfortable cg and was told if I wanted, I could stop wearing it now. I am still on restrictions as to no lifting, pushing or pulling. I have been wearing the cg during the night when I am asleep, on the outside of my nightie. My skin is really drying out from the antibacterial soap, think I will take a shower today using my Body Works Shower gel. :) Updated on 19 Sep 2013: I have not been around much, because I have NOT been feeling well. Today, I saw my surgeon and she was happy with the healing and released me of all the restrictions. But, when she first walked into the room, she said, you are jaundice! She told me to go to report to the lab for blood work and she was on the phone with my primary doctor. I am to see him tomorrow. I have been having extreme itching, and problems with my stomach after I eat. The surgeon feels it may be my gall bladder acting up - I pray it is not my liver. Please keep me in your prayers. Updated on 24 Sep 2013: A quick update - Last Friday I was sent to the main medical campus for cat scan - all my organs looked good. Did more blood work for a gastroenterologist appointment the primary dr. had scheduled for me to see on Monday. Unfortunately, the blood work that I did on Friday, the report was not ready. But, the gastroenterologist believes I had picked up a virus in my liver from the place where I had the surgery done. I am to do more blood work next week so that a comparison can be made to see if the liver is healing itself. On a brighter note, I believe in my heart, that I am on the road to recovery, the skin does not look as yellow, but the doctor said I still have jaundice in the whites of my eyes. Updated on 2 Oct 2013: I wanted to post a new picture of my tummy! I just love it! I am still numb and at the end of the day, swollen. I wrap the cg around my waist, the outside of my nightie and that helps with the swelling when I get up in the morning. I have ordered silicon strips (NewGel+) for the scar that my ps had recommended. Still do not know anything regarding the medical scare, still doing blood work for my appointment with the gastro doctor on the 14th. Hugs to all my TT Sistas! Updated on 2 Oct 2013: Received a call from the gastroenterologist this afternoon. I do NOT have Hepatitis A, B, C, or D, what he had suspected! Nor do I have an autoimmune disease. My liver enzymes is still high, but the liver is improving. Perhaps it was all the medication I was taking. The doctor is going to continue to monitor me - but now, I am just going to be happy about my new tummy!!! Hugs to you all & thank you for keeping me in your thoughts & prayers!

I recommend my patients sleep on their backs the first night after surgery. After that, they are able to sleep on their sides. I recommend waiting 6 weeks before sleeping on the belly side. This helps to keep the implants from displacing or moving during the initial healing period. After 6 weeks, the implant pockets have healed and physical activities and sleeping positions won’t affect the implants
