There are so many different laser devices on the market, but more limited is the laser source used and therefore the actual wavelength of the laser. This is very important and can help simplify as it narrows down what you are comparing. For example, Alexandrite is the laser source and therefore the wavelength is 755nm. The LightSheer is a diode and so about 810nm (it can range somewhat). From what I can tell (I don't own the machine) the Soprano has a diode and Alexandrite. 

Studies have been done comparing different wavelengths for hair removal, but the industry is constantly evolving and each machine, even if the same wavelength, may have slightly different effects. Also, each person is individual with their skin type and hair type, and therefore there is no way to say X machine is the best. 

Alexandrite and diode are both great laser sources and wavelengths for laser hair removal. However, the other variable is the practitioner providing the treatment. Therefore, your best option is to see someone whom is very experienced and you feel comfortable with and confident in their knowledge and ability.

Firstly, regarding looking 'fake'' - everyone has very different anatomy and some people naturally have a significantly larger bottom lip. I do not feel your lips appear obvious that you have received a  hyaluronic acid in the past. 

Secondly, yes, you can have persistence of hyaluronic acid product for much longer than the 'typical' duration the company claims they last. 

Thirdly, there is a straightforward solution to this if it truly is remnants of the product. An enzyme (hyaluronidase) can be injected to dissolve this product. 

I would recommend seeing an experienced injector to ensure this is not something else like a nodule, and hyaluronidase treatment is not without risks, as with any injectable procedure. 

This is a not uncommon reaction, although not noted in the literature as much as persistent delayed reactions. I have seen and heard of this but not necessarily with every infection. For some patients it is a one time reaction, for others it occurs more often with infections. This can present many months or even more than a year after the filler treatment was performed. There is no concern with this but if more prolonged or bothersome there are treatment options. As you very correctly questioned - it is theorized to be due to an immune response.
