I had eyelid surgery. One eyelid droops a little. Eye turned out WORSE. Even MORE droopy. It was expensive 3k, they never offered to fix the issue. Offered to let me see another surgeon (oh thanks). When I called to schedule with other surgeon they said they’d call me back and never did.

Waiting on insurance.. It usually takes 6 weeks for a preauthorization. My Dr did a peer to peer, still waiting. Hope we know in time of surgery and do not have to reschedule....Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty/ Turbinoplasty/Ostetomy. I am so ready for this. I have headaches between my eyes a lot. I always feel like I have a stuffy nose too. My nose is too big for my face and my profile.. not so in love with, it's manly. I played softball since I was 6, been hit really hard a few times in my playing years. In the 6th grade is when my peers started to notice and called me names. My parents were so loving.. I remember coming home and crying...a lot. They always reassured me that I was Beautiful and that everyone is different. Through Jr high and highschool, kids are just mean.. I know that I have character and am humble to know that everyone is different. I would never ever bully or make fun of anyone!! Today I am 31 years old, I am a mother of 4. I married my high school sweetheart!! I stay at home and get to be with my kids. Well on a few occasions, I will help out with school activities, little kids have some creative questions about my nose. Now that I am older I don't take it to heart. So..... Through all these amazing years I have researched and watched videos, been to consultations, and I found this awesome site Realself.com and decided to make another consultation. In February sat down with Dr. Nelson and spent an hour and a half going over all my questions and likes and dislikes. I had another appointment with him in March to look at his work/patients and booked a surgery date April 17, 2015. I love reading others Reviews and seeing pictures before/after! The Dr.'s art is a Blessing in our Lives!! I can't wait! Updated on 15 Apr 2015: I have cigna insurance.. Needing additional information. I am a mother of 4.. I don't go to the Dr for anything.. So I have no documentation of anything. My chosen Dr did not call or email anything with suggestions or to say the next step. That's definitely a blessing he is not the one.... The Dr fees were $7700 and hospital fees and anesthesia was total $15000. That is not something I am ready to pay out of pocket.. I think things happen for a reason.. As things seemed to work out it just did not. I am not having good vibes from local surgeons.. I am thinking about others now.. Dr. G is someone I have really been researching... Anyone want to share ideas ..would love to hear from you??!!!
