I have been considering LASIK for many years. I was really scared if something happens to my only pair of eyes then I'll be blind. Dr Mandel was recommended by a friend who just had LASIK with Dr Mandel so I said ok to go for consultation thinking I'll chicken out and not move forward with the surgery. Dr Mandel and his staff were so amazing and friendly and took their time explaining everything and answering all my questions. I called the next day to schedule my surgery. The surgery was painless and quick. I received a call before the surgery and the night of my surgery, and my next day follow up, I had 20/20 vision in my right eye already! Dr Mandel showed that he really cared for my well being and I can't say enough about how great the entire staff was.

I am in my mid 40s and I decided to undergo LASIK surgery on both eyes because I now required reading glasses (and my regular glasses were no longer helpful), and it was getting complicated. I went in for a consultation, the staff were so eager to put me at ease, to answer my questions, they gave me a complete timeline, explained the process, gave me specific care instructions--it was all so clear that I trusted them immediately. A few weeks later I had the procedure, same level of attention and care. Everyone in the office was terrific, it made it less taxing to go in there the next day after surgery and then a week later for a check-up. I love that I can see without glasses (though I still need reading glasses, but that's a minor annoyance), and I feel I received above average attention. I would definitely recommend the procedure, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Mandel and his amazingly friendly staff!

Allergies prevented me from being able to wear contacts so I finally broke down and decided to have Lasik. The worst thing was not being able to get to sleep right after the procedure but as soon as I did most discomfort was gone. 100% would do it again, it's been a life changer for me. My vision after was 20/15.
