I have always had a bald spot where I part my hair, not the most feminine look. I've always been embarrassed by it. When I lost Hank and Irva, my two main hairs attempting to cover my spot, I went to Dr. J and got 2 microneedling with Selphyl on my scalp. In less than a month, my hairdresser remarked how much new hair growth I had. So welcome, Hank Jr and many others!
Hello There,You are not alone in your tattoo regret. Many folks get much farther along in the tattoo application process before they realize it's not for them. The good news for you, looking at your photo is that there appear to be just two colors, black and green. While the tattoo does cover a large surface area, it's not completely filled in, which translates to less laser time and therefore less cost. First, a word or two about the treatment plan: I would give you an estimate of 6 Picosure treatments , 6-8 weeks apart. For the first few treatments I would expect the green ink to blister, and I'm talking a big, tense blister. Be prepared for wound care post-laser. Second, a word about costs: the biggest concern for most patients considering laser tattoo removal is time to completion. Picosure has the advantage of clearing tattoos in 1/3 to 1/2 the time compared to older laser technology, so it is less disruptive to your life. The treatments are uncomfortable while the laser is lifting the pigment. Once the treatment is over, that pain goes away. Find an office that uses the Zimmer chiller during the procedure. My patients say it's a must. Each treatment could cost between $400-800 depending on competition in your local laser market. I hope this helps you in your quest!Best regards,Ellen R. Jacobson, M.D.
