Based on loads of positive reviews, I drove several miles to see Dr. Holland. She does not earn all those positive reviews. Her demeanor was dismissive, egotistical, and off-putting. She was argumentative about a medical condition I've had for years. She also spent far less time with me than ANY ophthalmologist I've ever been to. She said nothing about the health of my eye. She and her tech did not say anything about my eye exam, what prescription strength I needed. She made no comment about the situation that made me seek her medical expertise in the first place. It was the worst doctor visit I've ever had. After forking out $193 bucks, I expected a few minutes of her time, some comments from her. But she remained prickly and dismissive throughout the few minutes that I was in her presence. Will never go to her again, will certainly never recommend her. We go to doctors for answers, to learn about conditions, to seek help with those conditions; we don't spend money to get nothing at all. No comments from her other than the argumentative demeanor. She did make one comment about a condition with my eyes and then offered no prescription or regimen to rectify it. She offered no explanation at all to a second potential issue with my eyes. So, now I have to go to someone else just to get her exam explained. Not cool. So, I will not be using her for any surgeries or general eye health either.
