Dr. Tran was amazing! I had made an appointment to see her for Botox. She was thorough in explaining how everything works and was great at explaining why she was putting the Botox where she saw fit. I drove all the way from San Diego, because she is the best! I will definitely be seeing her for all my future appointments.
Dr.Tran is the BEST. Her office is always incredibly clean and Cierra (her patient relations coordinator) is amazing and always available. I have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Tran and my mother has had Botox done. Every time we enter the office we are treated incredibly well. I live out of state for college and Dr.Tran was always available to FaceTime or text if I had any questions or concerns. I cannot recommend her enough.
I had breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Tran several months ago and I am very happy with my results and overall experience with her. I waned fuller yet natural looking results, and she gave me exactly that! She is very skilled at what she does and you can tell she really cares about the end result that you want not what she wants. She listens to what your expectations and wishes are and finds a way to make that happen. I can't speak more highly of her as and would recommend her without hesitation. Thank you Dr. Tran and staff! The photo I am posting is me 3 months post-op. We went with 375cc shaped, silicone implants.
Speaking about breast aesthetics in the context of bra size is quite misleading. For starters, bra manufacturers produce drastically different bra sizes with the same size labels, ie Maidenform vs. Victoria's Secret. Furthermore, it is a common misconception that a certain cc volume of breast implant directly translates to a cup size change. Implant size selection is most safely done when based on the individual woman's breast and chest wall measurements, in combination with the aesthetic outcome she desires ie natural vs. augmented appearance, degree of fullness/projection, with or without "side boob". There are a large variety of implants characteristics (width, height, projection) from which to select to meet these criteria, not just cc volume. For your purposes, it's best to find photos of women with your small frame and breasts shape and size you want. Bring these photos to your consultation with a board certified (by the American Board of Plastic Surgery) plastic surgeon and ask about their in office sizing system to try on the different sizes that would fit within your breast and chest wall size.
Hello, which post-op day is this for you? Occasional aches and pains are rather common up to one month post-op, and slightly longer especially for those who selected implant size beyond what their chest wall can naturally accommodate. Post-op swelling also takes about one month to fully resolve. Patients in my practice are released back to full physical activity, including high impact exercises and even weight lifting, after two months. Sleeping on your back and elevated at about 30 degrees while wearing surgical compression bra will help stabilize your implants and reduce swelling. You should discuss your concerns with your surgeon and get his/her advice on their specific practice for their patients.
Hi Jesskay, I'm so sorry you've had so many problems with your breast surgeries. It's definitely not the norm. It's hard to give an educated opinion without photos and details of your last surgery. After five capsulectomies, I'd imagine that your tissue has thinned out quite a bit. And if you feel like you're sagging now, I doubt that a periimplant scar will resolve your problem satisfactorily. I hate to suggest another surgery after your having had so many already, but it's worth revisiting with your surgeon, or seek another in person 2nd opinion, about other operative interventions like internal support system with acellular dermal matrix (Alloderm/Strattice) or Seri (silk mesh) in conjunction with breast lift. It is best to find a board certified (by the American Board of Plastic Surgery) plastic surgeon who specializes in breast reconstruction and revision breast surgery.
Breast reduction is performed to remove breast tissue and skin to reduce volume and mass of very large breasts. This is done as a medically necessary procedure when a woman’s breast size causes significant back pain, shoulder indentation, and/or rashes/wounds/fungal infection underneath and between the breasts. Breast reduction does include a lift, aka repositioning of the nipples higher to where they “should” be. If the breasts are not large enough and/or have symptoms meeting criteria for medically necessary breast reduction, patients may elect to have breast lift (repositioning the nipples and resection of excess skin alone) to improve the shape and aesthetics of their breast. If they wish to reduce the size of their breasts as well, then the procedure can be done with some volume reduction (by removing some breast tissue in addition to the skin.
