I had a wonderful experience with every aspect of my surgery. Dr. Cortez and his staff are friendly and professional. Most importantly, Dr. Cortez is a perfectionist! He takes his time when evaluating and explaining what will be involved in your procedure. I was not nervous, at all, because I know that he takes great pride in his work. I had a lower face lift and I know it looks totally natural! I have people ask me what skin products I am using!! They have no idea that I had surgery!! I am so grateful that I live in Kansas City where Dr. Cortez practices...I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Dr. Cortez has a top notch anesthetist and a warm, caring staff. This is a judgement free zone...I have no regrets and have so much respect for Dr. Cortez and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cortez for 20 years, beginning with a Phenol- Croton Oil peel in 2000. Since then, I have continued maintenance through Vascular and Pigment Laser treatments, Medium peels and the Hyalogy and Sente product regimen. Through his experience, new and proven technology and products, I have maintained a much younger look and the prior incidences of chronic keratosis and pre-cancerous lesions have been significantly reduced or eliminated under his care. His staff is always friendly and responsive to my needs.

AMAZING!!! I am 59 years old and had many wrinkles. I had a lot of sun damage and a family history of wrinkles. I had researched PS's for procedures, not knowing what to do.  I went to 3 different ones, and each gave me a different scenario--facelifts, implants, Blepharoplasty, and other procedures. Dr. Cortez did an amazing job with my botox. I have a very natural look with softer lines and my eyebrows have even raised so they don't feel so heavy. The experience was extremely professional and essentially pain free.

Over four years ago I had a under eye surgery to remove excess fat pads which made me look tired. Dr. Cortez also recommended as part of the procedure to tighten around my eyes for the best outcome due to my age. He had Dr. Thornton help assist with the tightening procedure who is a specialist in that area. The results were immediate as soon as I healed. Even now, four years later every time I feel tired and look in the mirror I'm amazed that I don't look tired. I'm so impressed and happy with how that surgery turned out and how my eyes look at 67 years old. Over the years every procedure I've had done from injections to removing age spots, I'm always pleased with the outcome and how natural I look. When it comes to my face I trust Dr. Cortez and his team. What a wonderful find he has been for me!

I had my lips injected by Dr Cortez and it is exactly what I wanted them to look like. I was completely numb-it didn’t hurt at all. My upper lip used to curl under and disappear when I would smile and the corners would turn down and make me look sad. He added just the right amount of filler to my lips. They are very natural looking and now you can see my upper lip when I smile. I am not scared to have him inject again the next time because I know he would not make me look strange and overdone.

I got laser done by Dr. Cortez for capillaries on my cheeks and around my nose, also for some brown spots on my chest. The laser helped so much in getting rid of those! It was so quick and easy. I also get peels from Dr. Cortez which really get rid of the brown in my skin and help keep my skin looking amazing! He is so knowledgeable and I know I’m getting the best treatment. His skincare is fantastic and I love adding that to my regimen as well. I’m so glad I’ve found someone with such expertise that I can trust!

I had terrible wrinkles. Dr. Cortez recommended that I have a Phenol Peel Instead of a face lift. I had the procedure several weeks ago - my wrinkles are minimal now. Dr. Cortez is a perfectionist and very professional. Dr. Cortez and his nurses work as a team to perform thorough education pre-and post care. They are very strict that the aftercare is performed exactly like they want and they stay on top of the education both prior and post care. My post care was pretty much daily for the first week. The nurses and Dr. Cortez work as a team and I trust all of them as to their knowledge and accuracy. Dr. Cortez does have a sense of humor. Once again, I will stress that Dr. Cortez is an absolute perfectionist and when it comes to my face that is what I want! I am absolutely delighted with the results. If feels so good not to have a face full of wrinkles!

Excellent! Dr. Cortez and the entire professional medical staff were experienced professionals. Each procedure was explained at a pre surgery office visit and printed information was given for further review. Pre-surgery medical tests were given to insure my health was good for surgery. After surgery follow-up office visits were scheduled .

The office ambiance was so great, including the staff, amenities and the doctor's consultation. I was there over two hours, a lot of time for a doctor and his staff to allow me the time for photos, vitals, examination of my face, background for health and reasons for wanting surgery, and then recommendations and options. Time went fast for me, as everything was covered so thoroughly and with thought. Updated on 13 Apr 2019: I've had Dr. Cortez' name on my calendar for many years. He had the best reputation for face work in the area, way back when. Well, he still is the best, I will tell you now. Widowed two years ago, I lost a lot of weight and kept it off, and as they always say.... it shows up fast in the face, which is ok for a few weeks then the skin just sags. At 73 I am in very good shape, went on to enjoy a full life and date a great guy, but I'd look in the mirror and see someone else, not my positive perception of me and my age. And am I happy now? You bet, I am. Dr. Cortez gave me a lower face lift and neck tightening and less than a week later I knew the gal in the mirror once again. I had no pain at any time, milder than expected bruising, and was back in public a week post procedure. Never have I had a better experience with a doctor and staff, and I have a great network of physicians in the health care industry. I cannot give a better rating than the one I give this team. Same time next year, same doctor, maybe the upper face lift. I trust this man.
